Do you prefer the sound of crashing waves or of children’s laughter? Gone Coastal is ideally located between Crescent Park and the Ocean so you can enjoy both a game of volleyball on the park lawn and flying a kite on the beach within a few steps. While built to be a part of the neighborhood, this classically designed cottage also backs up to a lush forest on two sides, making it one of the more serene and private accommodations in the community.
Open the friendly green front door and you’ll be greeted by both simplicity and luxury. Step inside, hang your coat on the rack, remove your shoes and be whisked away by the wonderful living area that boasts beautiful reclaimed maple floors, ten-foot painted wood ceilings, a large gas fireplace, and classy coastal décor. If you look closer, however, you’ll see that this home was not only designed to honor the character of the past, but to function in a manner that anticipates your every need. This space boasts a premium built-in surround sound system, and HDTV’s with satellite TV.
The comfortable chairs and a roomy sofa are perfect for watching a movie in surround sound or reading a good book. The open floor plan allows you to keep involved with the rest of your party as you cook in the truly beautiful gourmet kitchen complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, gas cooktop, ice-maker, dishwasher, and plenty of high quality pots and pan to keep any chef happy. The generous island, kitchen gadgets, and cookbooks will make it easy to whip up delicious meals or cocktails - everything you’ll need to entertain guests and eat your heart out.
The dining room table seats six, with space for four more at the bar. Beyond the patio doors you’ll be beckoned by the very private wrap-around deck where you can enjoy an outdoor meal with the gas BBQ or sit back on the Adirondack chairs and bird watch.
The private sunroom waits to your right, inviting you to enjoy a quiet moment with a book, call family or friends or just take a nap in the sunshine. When it’s time to turn in for the night, the sunroom’s day bed and trundle are a perfect space for one or two more. Also, the sofa is a sleeper which pulls out into a full size bed. Both enjoy easy access to the half bath on the main level.
Upstairs, you’ll find several spacious and uniquely decorated bedrooms. The master suite boasts a large pillow top mattress with French style feather duvet, with a variety of pillows for side sleepers and back sleepers alike. The master suite also has it’s own HDTV with DVD player. The on-suite bathroom has a sink for you and your loved one, and that much needed hot shower with great water pressure. Soak your worries away in one of the two bathtubs. The second bedroom is home to an equally comfortable bed and luxurious linens. A full bathroom with double sinks is ideally situated for sharing with the third bedroom- making everyone comfortable.
