In the 1800's, my great grandmother, Mary Frances, traveled from Gig Harbor to the ocean, where she sat on the beach to paint and sketch. You can follow in her footsteps and create sand castles, take photographs, and breathe the fresh sea air. "Mary Frances" is a comfortable cottage for one or two couples or a family of four.
"Mary Frances" is located in the charming town center, close to shops, market, cafe' and bike rentals. Crescent Park and the indoor pool are nearby; fire pit, outdoor games and children's play equipment are also close. If you want to have a traditional holiday meal, the cottage kitchen has a large roasting pan for a ham, turkey or roast, and an electric carving knife. If broiled steaks are your choice, there is an oven broiler and a set of the finest steak knives you've ever used. If you want to start a new tradition of Belgian waffles for breakfast, try your hand at making them with the easy-to-use waffle maker. A low-tech mixer (called a whisk) is provided.
You will find all the creature comforts you would expect in this professionally decorated, bright and airy townhome. The bedroom located on the main floor has a full bed and a full bath. The second floor bedroom has a queen bed, its own bath and a view of the emerging town center. Also in the second floor bedroom is a combination TV/DVD player, compatible for a game console hook-up, if you bring yours.
The kitchen would make any chef proud: stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, quality kitchen tools and much more. The kitchen/dining area is open to the well appointed living area, which has a vaulted ceiling and comfortable seating. Amenities include a combination HD TV/DVD player (also compatible for a game console hook-up) and an assortment of DVDs, books, cards, games and puzzles.

I would not rent this cottage again. mrstmorgan from Marysville, Stayed for 0 days in October, 2012 We have stayed at Seabrook in 4 other cottage rental, and were very disappointed in this one. It is a newer rental and has very few amenities- no shower caddy, shampoo & soap on the floor in shower. Tv only in upper bedroom, very limited utensils, pots pans, etc. Very basic. No outdoor seating, BBQ, or covered area. Beds were horrible, New construction in front of unit had Tyvec that blew and slapped all night long in the fall rains, so the noise was not conducive to sleep. We waited 'til last minute to book for razor clam digging, and in retrospect, I would have stayed anywhere but this cottage. |
