Completed in 2010 and located in the up & coming beach town of Seabrook, WA, a 2 hour drive from Seattle, Sea La Vie offers high style living in a compact space. Nestled near the forest and a five minute stroll to the beach, the sounds of the surf will lull you to sleep each evening. The decor is European inspired, with open shelving in the galley kitchen, a comfy zebra upholstered chaise full size sofa sleeper, shaker style four poster bed in the master and an antique Indonesian table for dining and games. Travel up a hand crafted ladder, to the cozy loft where you will find two extra long twin beds, perfect for campers of all ages.
The galley kitchen is outfitted with all you need to produce a memorable beach meal. The gas fireplace will keep you toasty on those cold windy beach nights and there are an abundance of blankets to snuggle up in. Contemporary lighting allows for fireside reading and if you forget a book there are many books and magazine for you to browse through during your visit. An assortment of games and CD's are provided and the DVD player will allow you to watch your favorite movies on the 40" high definition TV. Wireless internet and cable are provided. The smart bathroom features custom tile and shelving, with plenty of space to stow your toiletries.
Weather permitting, dine outside on your private patio & garden or open the back shed to find two Cruiser Bikes to take a spin around town. The community Fire Pit is steps away and grab marshmallow tongs for those infamous smores.
Free access to spectacular indoor pool and spa, just steps away, perfect indoor recreation on those stormy beach days!
Instead of cooking, take a short, scenic drive north (about 25 minutes)to
the idyllic Lake Quinault Lodge or Salmon House,for a memorable meal & great
view! Follow with an easy Rain Forest hike or visit some of the world's
largest trees, great for kids of all ages. Don't forget your camera &
binoculars!
Lil's Pantry at Seabrook has everything you need from lattes to grocery supplies. The Olympic Peninsulas world renowned forests, beaches and lodges are just a short drive north from Seabrook. The city of Forks, of Twilight fame, is about an hours drive north for the teens in your party. Dress for the weather, and 15 miles of unspoiled beach await your footsteps. Simply Special JenniferSeattle_WA from Seattle, WA, Stayed for 0 days in March, 2012 We've stayed twice in this charming cottage which is well equipped for our small group. Located in Beachcamp, these cozy cabins surround a well stocked campfire pit for evening under the stars. Sea La Vie has a great outdoor private patio with gas bar-be-queue, and a front porch to meet and greet neighbors. It's an easy walk to the beach (like every place in SeaBrook). While it's one of the smaller properties at Seabrook it's a real bargain as it has everything a group of four needs. A bedroom and sleeping loft backing to the woods offers one of the quietest sleeps in town. The common room has a big comfy couch (with hide-a-bed) and dining table. The kitchen has all the necessities. Nice towels and linens and washer/dryer also within. We will definately be back and hope that this cottage will be available. Thank you for a wonderful escape. |
