Resort: Perigueux was built in the fertile Isle valley old city in the centre of the region, 35 km from Thenon, 70 km from Brive, 120 km from Bordeaux. In the resort: shops, grocers, restaurant. Access: railway station "SNCF PTrigueux". For arrivals by plane: airport PTrigueux (PGX) 10 km, Bergerac (EGC) 55 km. The history of Perigueux can be seen in the structure of the town and in the different areas characterized by church domes. On the one hand there is the city with the Saint-Etienne-de-la-Cite church and on the other hand Puy-St-Front with it's Byzantine style cathedral Saint-Front and it's several small bell towers. Gastronomic specialities: Truffles and foie gras.
