My only criticism would be the less than complete kitchen supplies - it was challenging to cook for 10-12 people with the pots/pans/casseroles/serving dishes that were there. Also disappointed that there was no large dining area where we could all sit together - lots of bar space and a medium sized kitchen table. But we made do, and had a spectacular week! |

However, two beds were full of sand (between the sheets, gross!) and the floor and stairs were sandy/dirty upon arrival. Apparently, the cleaning crew missed a few things with the prior renters. The master suites are amazing and the views are stunning. Our family enjoyed a perfect weekend to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary. My only complaint would be that a house that sleeps 12 should have a table for 12. We had to eat at the counter every night, all in a long line. The counter stools are so massive that people had to be helped in and out and once seated were trapped until someone helped to scoot them back! |

We had twelve people there and we never felt crowded. Every couple felt like they had wonderful private space as well as wonderful gathering space in the main room on the beach level. We had fantastic weather. The house has everything you need right there: umbrellas, beach chairs and towels, bikes, even a longboard for surfing. We felt like we were royalty in this lovely home. We will recommend this to others and would happily book this home again. We leave with happy memories. |

I wish the dinning table had 8 chairs (it has 6 chairs). The house is large and clean, there were plenty of towels and we had a wonderful time. We will come back. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 The house was not very clean especially the stove, the biggest problem was we had water dripping from the ceiling on my guest's Property Manager Response: Response from RE/MAX Gold Coast Property Management We strive for cleanliness at all our vacation rentals and if someone is not happy with the clean upon check-in our policy is to send the cleaning crews out to remedy the problem. Unfortunately, in this case the tenant did not want be disturbed during their stay and so we were not able to meet their demands. Our homes are well maintained; however, just like at your own home things can break at anytime. We have 24/7 emergency lines and vendors waiting just in case problems arise. Our vendors are friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help. The pin-hole leak was fixed after the tenant moved out upon their request. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy their vacation and our beautiful area. Come and stay at this beautiful mansion on the beach and let us handle any problems that arise while you are relaxing with your feet in the sand. |
