We had a great experience dealing with both the Remax and the owners. House was lovely and we appreciate some of the small improvements that have been made since last year. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2013 Location unbeatable, ample room to accommodate large family, lots of games for kids, TV was amazingly clear, abundance of towels. I would just recommend getting some mattress pads or replacing the mattresses for a few of the beds that were uncomfortable and a new bike pump so we could put air in the bike tires. We have used VRBO several times and have not been disappointed. We are definitely planning on returning to this location but planning on staying longer. Steps to the beach for a fun day on the sand and the house has a good view from the front deck. Nice little side deck for hanging out. Overall, the house was perfect for a little Labor Day weekend getaway. Did wish the house had a spa, that would top it off.Kristina the manager was awesome. Wouldn't mind renting the place again! Nice choice in Oxnard! A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We had a nice week here. Our group appreciated the spacious living areas, especially the upstairs deck, and spent many hours enjoying the proximity to the beach. We also enjoyed having gas fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit for the chilly evenings. In general the beds were comfortable, but all of the pillows were very flat.On the downside, we found the kitchen to be quite inadequate in terms of cooking tools (the pots and pans were awful, the knives dull, and kitchen missing several items that would have been helpful to have). Watch your head on the too-low hood over the stove! Also note that there is no normal coffee maker in the house - only a Keurig (with only a day's worth of K-cups provided), which is not effective or efficient when there are 8 adults wanting coffee in the morning!Overall, a good choice for moderate (not budget, not luxury) accommodations close to the beach in Oxnard! Stayed for 58 days in February, 2012 We love being in Oxnard at this time of year!The weather is SO much nicer than in the UK!The house is in a perfect location and we made full use of the great space the house offers. There are plenty of loungers on the balconies and tables for eating out. The garden is private and secure.The beach is wonderful. The property agents were super efficient and a delight to deal with. The house is huge and complete with all the amenities you would ever need. We felt like we were home, and yet, we felt like we were on vacation! There were 7 bikes which were great to ride along the beach. Kristina, the property manager, was great! She reassured me that if we needed anything while we were staying at the house, we could always contact her. The only thing that was lacking from this house was a jacuzzi, that would just be icing on the cake. But hey, there were plenty to do, so we didn't miss it.Overall, a great house in a great location!
