Just on the outskirts of Oxford, Bonfield Farm is an expansive telescope home with wraparound views of Boone Creek. This home gives you the back in time feeling of an old plantation estate, and a chance to experience the Eastern Shore from a less touristy perspective. Lots of together and lots of away space are two of the reasons we love this house for multiple familie and friends. The donwstairs bedroom is adjoined by private bathroom and the upstairs bathrooms are both updated. Great outdoor activites provided including basketball hoop, waterside firepit with Adirondack chairs, horshoe pit for a game while waiting for the propane grill to fire up for dinner. A single kayak included adds value and the sandbar at the mouth of the creek acts as great protection for anyone to venture out. The sandbar is prohibitive to boat traffic so it is great for kids to kayak and canoe in the water. Oxford is a lovely small community with a waterfront park, great restaurants and crab houses for the summer, perfect for biking. The Wednesday afternoon farmer's market is a treat - Victor always comes by with his ice cream stand to make a visit worth your while. The Oxford Bellvue Ferry provides for a quick excursion to St. Michaels. East Bonfield Farm provides the privacy of a country estate with the convenience of a village location - great vacation experience!
