Great Vaycay!! A guest from Dayton, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 We loved our stay, in fact it was the second time in this condo. Wewill come back, but a few things that would make it even better. Updateoutdoor furniture, foam pads on beds ( the mattress are cheap and hard)Also more plates and better kitchen supplies. We did not have enoughplates for our family to eat and the serving spoons, peeler, corkscrew etc arenot things I feel like I should have to bring from home. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 White Caps is a well maintained property and the staff at Bender is a pleasure to work with, but I would not recommend unit 206 to anyone. The furniture was early eighties at best; the mattresses were cheap and were hard as bricks. You have a great gulf front view from the balcony, the patio furniture however is not deserving of that view (3 plastic chairs and a plastic table). Bring your own bath tissues, paper towels and dishwashing detergent, there will only be one of each. Close to the pool, stairway, trash bin, and the corner spot with all the balcony space was wonderful! However, I agree with some of the other guests that the furniture, televisions, and furnishings could be updated. The mattresses on all beds were too hard, the couch had a date of 1996 on it, and the patio furniture for the balcony was not cut my morning time short having to sit in flimsy plastic. Unit was roomy, but the third bedroom being without a television was a problem. We had to call maintenance twice, once for the bathroom and one because the dishwasher was leaking on the floor. They were very prompt and courteous. Dishwasher and garbage disposal were unusable and all of the drains were very slow. Unit was fairly clean, but we had to rewash the dishes that were in the cabinet. Overall a very nice place to stay for the price. The garbage disposal was not working. The bedroom 2 & 3 could have had better mattress's and the TV's could have been updated to flatscreens. The balcony patio furniture was as cheap as it gets and could have had more seating rather than 4 chairs. We enjoyed the big balcony with the kids. Overall our stay was adaquate. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 We had a great time, however the kitchen needs some updating on gadgets and flatware. Also our air was out almost the whole week. The temp was not going down so we checked the circuit breaker and it was tripped. We had to keep flipping it. Finally we thought we had it, but after sweating all night realized it had tripped again. Finally the last full day we got it to stop tripping and our place got cool. Good thing it wasn't hotter that it was, cuz I would have not been happy. It was an unfortunate thing to deal with though. I think our vacation would have been even better if we were comfortable in our condo and not hot!!!!Also indoor pool deck was gross! It needs spruced up and deck painted or power washed. Also I wish the chairs on our balcony were nicer. Being slightly overweight, I don't like sitting on plastic. They were cheesy. Hot tub was wonderful. When we need a condo again, I will ask for this one. Good value for the money. The wrap-around balcony was beautiful, but weather didn't allow us to sit on it to enjoy the great view of pool and gulf. Refrigerator, stove, sink, baths all clean. The only "dirty spot" we found was by accident as we searched sofa cushions for a misplaced remote. Crumbs were in the love seat. (My sofa @ home probably has some, too.)My daughter wished for a TV in her bedroom, but she survived. A channel guide for the TV cable would be helpful. Master bed very comfortable, very firm. Young adult children said the other beds were a little lumpy, but OK. Location is convenient to grocery stores.ALL the condo complexes along the road need signs that are more visible. Condo #206 has a beautiful wrap-around balcony and awesome ocean views. The phones did not work and we had to have multiple lights replaced. Thought that would have been checked before arrival. It would have been considerate of Bender to let us know about the beach/oil cleanup when we were booking. Large backhoes, dump trucks and sand sifters were directly behind our condo working from 7-4 everyday, 3 out of our 4 days there. Then you thrown in the maintenance man using some sort of air powered nail gun to lay carpet on the outside walkways.... it was not the peaceful getaway that we were hoping for. We did enjoy our time when all was quiet and we could hear the ocean waves in the evening. I would return to White Caps.
