Resort: Bredene and Klemskerke are small and pretty holiday areas situated between De Haan and Oostende, on the Belgian North Sea coast, with fine sandy beaches and large sand dunes. Wide promenades, horseriding in Den Haan or in Bredene, swimming, trips to Oostende (with the possibility of trips to England), also to the lovely town of Brugge, with with its canals, offers a different type of visit. The windmills on the outskirts, retain the region's character. Also visit the weekly market in Bredene, every Tuesday morning. Bathing resort directly by the sea, 8 km from Oostende, 22 km from Brugge. In the resort: supermarket, butchers, post office, bank. Besides: chemist. Access: motorway N9. Access by train Brugge.
