Vom Hafen aus haben Sie Blick auf das Schloss Aalholm, die seit fast 1000 Jahren als Stadtfestung gedient hat und eine der wenigen gut erhaltenen mittelalterlichen Burgen Dänemarks ist. In Nysted gibt es verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch die Einkaufsstadt Nykøbing Falster ist nur 15 Min. entfernt.
