This is our second year here and have booked it again for next year. Our unit was very clean, bright and cheery and we thank the owner for sharing it with us. There was not much for cleaning supplies, so we had to go buy some and did leave it there for the next person. Perhaps that could be checked more often. The patio in front could use some more of the blue webbed chairs - there were not enough for everyone to sit on and some of the old ones had lost their webbing. Old old old... except the bathroom A guest from Largo, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2011 The location is great. Management is great. The bathroom is updated but needs a new shower head (it had mildew and crust on it). Dead roaches on the floor. Smoke detector was chirping over and over (had to go out at 1am to replace battery). Way too much furniture in the room. Once the bed is down, there is no walking room. Dishes were spotted, rusted, or the stainless steel finish had rubbed off. Fridge is new. Couch was fine. TV was fine. Overall, with bedding, shower head, dishes updates and lesser furniture in the room, it would be perfect. The beach access is great and the company was great to work with. Location is good - property is tired A guest from Elginburg, ON does not recommend this property. Stayed for 40 days in January, 2010 the room #4 is small and the owners have left a lot of clutter which makes the living area somewhat limited.the fact that many of the closets and cupboards are locked and unavailable left little space for our clothes and toilettries.the accommodations would improve greatly if many of the personal items were removed so that the guests would have more room.The extra table and chairs that are in the unit are really not necessary given that the Murphy bed has a built in table.A new TV would be nice with a DVD player.
