He was very friendly and helpful.Location is great. You are close to everything. The patio was outstanding. Negatives-Checkout was at 10:00am but cleaning crew was sitting on my patio at 9:00 waiting for me to leave. The bathroom also needs to be cleaned better. I have pretty low standards and for me it was dirty. Also, have bug spray at your disposal for the bathroom. The water pressure for the shower was literaly non existant. It was very nice to have the towels and sheets provided this trip! The shower pressure in the lower unit was horrible! The dishes and pots and pans need to be replaced. If we hadn't rented the upper unit also we would not have had enough pans to cook. The location was wonderful and it is a very affordable price. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2009 We have rented many beach houses over the years and realize they are "beach houses" and do not expect beautiful mansions. However, these (we rented both bottom and top units) were filthy. We actually watched the cleaning crew drag the super full disgusting trash through the house and out to the garage and leave it in there for us to deal with. The trash leaked throughout and the carpet had smears of the stuff all over. We were at fault too because we were so anxious to move in and begin our vacation that we had looked forward to for so long. We also found so much more dirt and problems after being there. The bathrooms were filthy. The upstairs unit had mold in the shower and was filthy. The lower unit bathroom was dirty and gross.I found dirty silverware put away greasy, dirty kitchen utensils as well. My husband had to deal with the trash they left and it was leaking out in the garage. He had to re-bag it and pick up used personal hygiene products, leaky old food and full unopened bottles of sodas were thrown in making it impossible to carry (which is why it leaked all over the carpet) so it had to be seperated into smaller bags. I don't think that was the highlight of our 30 year anniversary vacation. We had planned for this trip all year and all we really wanted was a clean, maintained little place on the beach. I think we deserved that with the amount of money we paid in cleaning fee's and for the rent. I will say the property managers were very proffessional to work with and checking in was great. I would not recommend this beach house to anyone, unless the owner decides to spend a few bucks and fix the bathrooms and cleans up the place. Get a new cleaning crew, they definitely did not do there job. It was cleaner when we left then when we checked in. That is for sure!
