Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 I would gladly pay another $200.00 per week for a queen sized bed and a confortable couch. The weather was not as sunny as we thought - but that's OK we had a wonderful time. This place is a perfect little nook to stay in if you want to hear the ocean every morning. I realize it is "just a beach house" (which is how it was described) but it was dirty! Linda B. from Lake Havasu, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2009 We have rented beach houses for years and have never stayed in one as dirty as this. I promise it was cleaner when we left then when we got there. I had to clean after cleaning people left. There was stuff dripped on the carpet in bottom unit and all outside where the cleaning lady dragged the trashbags out. We saw her from the beach. Then she piled it in the garage and it leaked out every where with full 2 liter bottles of soda, pudding, used feminine hygiene products etc... all spilled out. The shower in both units had mold and were disgusting. There were dirty dishes put in cupboards. Just filthy. We paid for cleaning services that we did not get our moneys worth in either unit. The owner needs to do some repairs in these units. Especially in the showers. When we checked in the property manager was professional and helpful. We should have gone back and told them about the conditions but we decided to clean it the best we could and enjoy the vacation we had planned on for so long. It was our 30th wedding anniversary. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2008 SO we finally got to stay in the old blue barn. we were upstairs and it was not too bad. it's just a shame that it is so poorly maintained. I don't mind that spilled milk runs off the table cuz the floor slants, but the bathroom could use a few hundred dollars and be fabulous. the shower drips, the caulking has either come of or never was, the linoleum floor is cut and smelly, and that really is the worst part of it. i don't mind old, but i do mind dirty and stinky. the back steps are a bit week and scarey. i wouldn't want the liability there. otherwise, it's a cute and open apartment in a great location.one other thing, somehow the point wasn't made very strongly in your change in policy about linens. I brought all of mine and was told i didn't need them this year, and i was charged for them.
