The first and lowest layer sleeps seven, invites a comfy soak in an extra large tub with a view onto the forest below. The second level, at street level, hosts a pretty entryway, two large rooms with comfortable queen and king beds, a shared bathroom with huge walk-in/roll-in shower. The top layer, the vibrant hub of the house, captures breathtaking views both of the ocean and the deep green of the forest below. The kitchen opens to a wood burning stove-heated dining area which flows into the comfortable living room. wonderful place wacky management A guest from Twisp, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 Beautiful house - perfect for privacy and togetherness. But management didn't respect our privacy. A washer/dryer was delivered unannounced when we were there, someone came to deliver a welcome package 3 days after our arrival, we awoke to a weed wacker early one morning (can't you do the yard care between guests?). Okay, it is a pretty serious uphill walk to the beach but it was worth it. Unfortunately, we did not know about that either as the owner took care of it. And yes, normally the yard care is down in between guests so we apologize for that as well. The views and light in the living room made for a lovely gathering space. The bathrooms were large and clean.The large deck was great but could use new comfortable furniture.Beds were comfortable.Linens need updating. Washing machine was broken and never fixed during our stay. It was reported 6 days prior to our departure. Garbage was over flowing When we arrive, had to call to have it picked up. Lovely Beachcroft Needs a Few Inexpensive Repairs and Supplies A guest from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2012 We have rented Beachcroft for 5 years or more and have always enjoyed the property. This last stay, however, we found a number of items missing or in need of updating: --down draft of kitchen range DOES NOT WORK (making sausage set off the house alarm, the police and fire chief arrived --ice-maker does not work --very little salt, no sugar --no hair dryer --no wooden spoon for cooking --broken salad spinner --fry pans are in poor condition, with crumbling teflon, a health hazard --patio furniture is unstable and falling apartWe have made a week long reservation for Beachcroft for this coming July when we will be hosting a large family reunion involving lots of adults and children and several houses. Improvements to Beachcroft will go a long way to securing the ease and comfort we look for in a vacation experience. We have our fingers crossed that the modest repairs & replacements I mentioned above will happen in time. The personal touches and the art appointment of the home made it very special. The sundeck with the peekaboo view and the feeling of sitting in the trees and its privacy was really an oasis of retreat. The outside furniture however needs updating . One chair was broken. Family Extravaganza in Manzanitia Adrienne K. from Portland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2011 Beachcroft was a perfect house. We had three different families and age groups and the layout of the house was perfect. Excellent sleeping arangements, space to spread out and views. The beds were comfy and the 2.5 baths were perfect for 8. The top floor was a great gathering spot for meals, games and ocean gazing. The house was far enough away from the crazy 4th of July crowd but close enough you knew you were at the beach. Only additional items to make it perfect is a new coffee maker (too many people didn't know it needed to be shut off, and the pot was small) and new outside patio furniture. The furniture was rusted from the sea spray and a bit hazardous. When the fridge went out, property management got back to us immediately with a service person, coolers and ice. We'll be back!
