Ideal for a business trip or holiday this waterfront house is well located near shopping, restaurants, and golfing. The rental period is flexible with prices from $2,800/week, or $6,500/month up to three months. Holiday season rates of $3500.00 per week with a minimum 7 night stay effective December 18, 2010 - January 1, 2011 & April 16 - 30th, 2011.There are 3 en suite bedrooms to sleep 6 comfortably, including a king size bed in the master bedroom upstairs, twin beds in the second bedroom and a queen size bed plus a futon in the sitting area of the third bedroom that may accommodate an additional adult or 2 small children. There is also powder room downstairs.Caprice has spectacular views of the sea and a pool on the front deck - ideal for relaxing and enjoying the Bahamian sunset. You can swim in front of the house which steps down to the water or you can walk down the road to Sandy Port Beach which has two restaurants available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a French restaurant within walking distance too and other restaurants not far away. Caprice is part of a gated and secure community.The house is situated in the Cable Beach area and if you do not wish to hire a car the No. 10 jitney (bus) stops at several locations, including the main hotels along Cable Beach, and into the town centre. Should you wish to travel to Paradise Island you can take a ferry from the town centre.There are two grocery shops in Cable Beach ? City Market and Super Value. You can walk to Super Value in five minutes from Caprice. The store is open from 7.00 am to 9 pm Monday to Saturday and from 7.00 am ? 5 pm on a Sunday. Should you require a housekeeper during your stay at Caprice, HG Christie will be happy to organize this at an additional cost.A taxi from the airport will cost two people $15.For the business traveler you are only 20 minutes from downtown Nassau and 5 minutes from Nassau International Airport.

Family Trip to Nassau Steve B. from Fort Worth, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2012 The rental was very spacious and well laid-out. It definitely needs some attention to the maintenance both inside and out (Cracks in the walls and ceilings, stained carpet,etc.) We also lost electricity on our last day which apparently is common on the island, however the generator did not come on automatically like it was supposed to and we were unable to reach the property manager. Overall, we had a great time and definitely enjoyed having the pool! I would only recommend this property if you can verify the maintenance issues have been corrected. Great place to stay! Carol L. from Newtown, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2012 Great place, lots of room, fantastic view. Lots of bathrooms, which is helpful when you have 6 people getting ready at the same time. The washer and dryer came in very handy. Kitchen is well stocked, with lots of dishware, pots and pans, etc. Nice supply of beach towels as well.A few things that should be looked into by the property managers:1. The pool was never cleaned while we were there. It was not clean when we got there either - we were not able to use it.2. The water temp in the master bedroom shower alternates by itself between cool and hot. The hot water can be hot enough to scald someone, so people need to be careful.3. There is a broken hinge on the toilet seat in the master bedroom. Therefore, the seat slips around. Otherwise, no complaints! It is a lovely place and there is a LOT of room for guests. The kitchen was fully stocked and the outside grill was a nice extra. The location was good, however, you need to be willing to take public transportation sine many things are not within walking distance. The one thing we were disappointed with was the wi-fi connection, it worked less than 50% of the time. Overall, I would recommend the Caprice home. The location was convenient for public transportation and a short walk to a very good beach side restaurant and supermarket across the street. Unfortunately the beach in front of the house is not conducive to swimming. The pool area really needed updating/landscaping and resurfacing. Umbrellas were all beat up and all but one unuseable. The inside of the villa was laid out well with nice size rooms. Furniture and decor nice with a real "beach" feel. Carpeting needed cleaning. I would recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 I would highly recommend this property for a family or group of 3-6 (maybe even 7). Their furnishings were comfortable, and the amenities were very nice. The grocery store really is just across and down the street and there is Wendy's right there. We walked to dinner two nights - just be careful of the busy traffic! The jitneys that take you to town are very easy and convenient, but they quit running around 7 p.m., so then it is a cab ride home - about $30 from the Fish Fry for 4 people. It was a joy to be able to wake up every morning and see the ocean from our bed. It is walking distance to the grocery and liquor store. Also conveniently located close to airport.
