It also had 2 very large Tv's and wireless internet. Newer washer and dryer too. If you need beach chairs or pool toys for the kids, they are already there (we didn't need them). We did not use the pool but it looked very clean. The location was good for us and it is easy to get to from the main roads. The only problem is removing the trash on our last day, but we have friends in the area so we took it to their place. I would highly recommend this place and I am glad I found it! Für Urlaub mit Freunden optimal geeignete Unterkunft Trudenfuss from 187323, Stayed for 0 days in May, 2012 Die sehr unproblematische Buchung des Hauses und die freundliche und termingerechte abwicklung noch vor Beginn der Mietzeit möchte ich besonders betonen. Hier hat alles ohne Schwierigkeiten geklappt - ein gebuchter, aber zunächst nicht gelieferter Zugang zum nahegelegenen Delnor-Wiggins-State-Park wurde auf kurze Nachfrage von uns innerhalb kürzester Zeit (halber Tag) nachgeliefert. Das Haus selbst war bei unserer ankunft ordentlich aufgeräumt und vorbereitet, gereinigt und - was die Grundbedürfnisse anbelangt (Toilettenpapier, Spülmittel in der Küche etc.) - ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Einrichtung ist zwar nicht mehr die neueste und teilweise ein wenig "abgewohnt", für eine Urlaubsunterkunft ist das aber nach wie vor noch guten Gewissens akzeptabel. Allein die Matratze des Bettes im zweiten Schlafzimmer sollte nach unserer Einschätzung recht zeitnah erneuert werden, hier merkt man deutlich, daß diese schon geraume Zeit benutzt wurde und daher auch etwas abgenutzt ist. Die Küche ist funkitonal und verfügt über alle notwendigen Geräte, die die Zubereitung der gängigsten Speisen ermöglicht. Dank der vorhandenen Waschmaschine und des Trockners war es auch möglich, die vor Ort vorhandenen Hand- und Badetücher regelmäßig zu waschen und so diese weiterverwenden zu können. Ein kleiner noch aufzuführender Makel: Die den Poolbereich umgebende Konstruktion mit Moskitonetzen ist - vermutlich einfach witterungsbedingt - teilweise etwas beschädigt, so daß bei einigen kleineren Löchen die Stechinsekten ihren Weg zum "Publikum" finden. Hier wäre es für zukünftige Gäste sicher toll, wenn man dies reparieren könnte; allerdings war das nur ein wirklich kleiner Fehler. Für den Besuch der nahegelegenen Strände sind in der Garage schon etwas ältere Stühle vorhanden, ebenso haben wir zwei Sonnenschirme finden können. Wir haben allerdings noch zwei Liegen und einen etwas komfortableren Strand- und Terrassenstuhl sowie zwei weitere Sonnenschirme nachgekauft, die wir - hoffentlich mit Gestattung des Eigentümers - nach abreise vor Ort in der Garage zurückgelassen haben...vielleicht freuen sich hierüber nachfolgende Besucher. Zusammenfassend: WIr können dieses Ferienhaus mit nur minimalen Einschränkungen guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen und werden uns selbst vermutlich in den kommenden Jahren wieder hier einmieten. Not as expected. Cecille from Westchester, New York, Stayed for 0 days in February, 2012 Pictures are misleading.This house was one of the few nicer-looking homes on this particular block. It is located a few yards away from a nursery school and the house across the street always had men/day laborers hanging around the front of their driveway - not what I expected in Naples. This house is few yards away from main road and a very long walk to the beach - better to drive there. Essentially, the neighborhood was so so. The location is great if you like being close to a 7eleven and the mall. For what we paid, this vacation home was overrated. The bathroom towels and bedroom linens were deplorable. The kitchen was not well-stocked - there wasn't a decent knife to be found. The floor was not cleaned well. The deck area around the pool was filthy - my husband spent over an hour scrubbing the greasy sticky mess under the bbq as well as the pollen off of the cement. The 3 paneled glass door leading to the pool had no curtains so we had a constant view of the neighbors behind the house and that fence - what an eyesore!!! Essentially, the house was okay but not immaculate. Property Manager Response: Thank you for completing the survey after your stay at the Tuscan Vacation Home. The owner of this house does strive to keep their home in impeccable condition and just recently had the pool deck thoroughly cleaned and freshly painted in December 2011. Had you notified our office about the drippings underneath the barbeque grill, we would have gladly sent our maintenance staff to address the oversight. Certainly we don't expect our guests to undertake such a cleaning project while on vacation. As to the distance to the beach, our website specifiess that it is 1.5 miles to the beach. Google maps are also provided on our site, the map provided clearly shows the distance to the beach and that the home is relatively close to a main road (Tamiami Trail) - in fact it is 600 - 700 feet from the main road. Google Maps is a wonderful tool to visualize what is around the house. Use of the satellite view will also give you actual arial photos of the surrounding area. Google Maps is a terrific resource and has been used on our website for several years now. Naples Park is a neighborhood which is in transition. With its close proximity to the beach, you have a blend of newer homes such as ours, older homes being remodelled and improved, older homes still in need of some TLC and empty lots. In addition to our home, there are many newer homes like ours in the nearby vicinity. Some of the older homes are periodically being remodelled, a positive sign of continual improvement. We are grateful for our neighbor across the street for improving the curb appeal of their home (one should note that the exterior noisy portion of the construction was finished in December, prior to this guests stay). This home is located on a dead-end street (with barricade) separating the residential section from the commercial section. The preschool mentioned is 6 lots away (300 ft) from our house and in the commercial section on the other side of the barricade. The 7-Eleven, a restaurant, some small stores & the preschool are only accessible by car from Tamiami Trail. There is minimal vehicle traffic in front of this home as the commercial storefronts & nursery school is accessible only from Tamiami Trail. There is a 6-foot high privacy fence around the entire backyard, giving total privacy to the back & sides of the home, pool area and small yard. You are the first person to suggest that drapes are necessary on the patio doors. The homeowner will consider adding some - though the added privacy isn't really necessary.		Overall Satisfacation

It was open and spacious and very clean and comfortable. The master bedroom wss huge with plenty of closet space and the two other bedrooms were very nice also. We loved the convenient to nearby Vanderbilt Beach, just 5 minutes away and all of the restaurants and conveniences like Whole Foods, the Mercado, movies, etc., all within minutes nearby. A very comfortable and liveable beach type house at a great location in North Naples. Only drawback was that we had paid for the pool to be heated but the pool heater had been set to run only 4 hours in the afternoon for the first week. The most untrustworthy experience ever. Great while you are down Jimmy from Cullman, Alabama, Stayed for 0 days in July, 2011 The place is great, perfect for a family. Convenient and beautiful. The people who own it and the ones responsible for charges are liars and scam artists in my opinion. They claimed we damaged the property to the tune of $430 but had zero evidence and the description of the damages they claimed "our children" could have been fixed by anyone with a brain for less than $100. They claimed the kids wrote on a closet wall and got nail polish on a pillow case. $430 sound right? Amex thought it was so ridiculous they reimbursed me fully for the charges. I can only hope they stuck it to this company. When I attempted to professionally explain this to the host company (unlike now because I am ticked and venting purposefully) they treated me like I was a lying and covering up for a bunch of vandals. My kids are 8, 6, and 4 by the way and I thoroughly inspected the property upon leaving. Good luck if you go because the place is nice but I would make sure these people have zero access to your credit card information or they could do anything and I assure you they will not care when you call with your legitimate concerns. The only thing that wasn't really good was the cleanness of the house at the moment we arrival. Looks like it was closed for a long period. Nice house, so-so neighborhood Peckham44 from Minneapolis, Stayed for 0 days in March, 2011 The house itself was fantastic. Spacious and well-maintained. Great layout for parents with young kids. The BBQ grill didn't work when we arrived, but it was replaced within a day. Biggest disappointment was the neighborhood, which was a little sketchy. Great place, great stay Pete from Munich, Germany, Stayed for 0 days in November, 2010 Not new but in a fair and clean condition the house provided everything necessary for a great vacation. The kids loved the pool which was serviced at least three times during our stay. Pool toys and beach chairs were provided. The neighborhood was average but felt safe and with the beach less than a ten minute ride it was just a great location. The electric and electronic devices were working properly and the kitchen was complete with everything needed to prepare full meals. The only thing I found to complain about were the frying pans as they were so worn out and dented that they were not usable for serious cooking but that was just a minor flaw in an overall good vacation. Fun, warm spent too much! Mum Dad and daughters in 20's from Tunbridge wells kent, Stayed for 0 days in November, 2010 This location is perfect to drive both into olde naples and also easy to get to sanibel and captiva - you will need a tom tom though. Fabulous weather. The pool was a little basic but with beaches nearby ok. Very suburban area and friendly neighbours. Recommend bringing empty suitcases.		Overall Satisfacation
Nice villa pity about the outside areas Glyn Morris from Barry, South Wales, Stayed for 0 days in August, 2010 On arrival the villa was open to anyone who wanted to go in, as the cleaners had not locked the doors. Although generally the villa itself was clean apart from between the seats on the settees, the outside aresa were in need of attention. Firstly there were wasps nests on the ceiling in the front porch and above the garage doors. The swimming pool area was quite dirty on the floors, and the patio table and chairs were rusting badly. There was also a lot of debris from the overhainging trees on the roof of the lanai too. The patio doors had no dead locks/bolts onlt the locks they came with There was no telephone. enjoyable gail from Alpena MI, Stayed for 0 days in August, 2010 While we really enjoyed ourselves in the house, there were definately things abot the house that could be fixed. There a cracks in the walls (ceiling) and it could have been cleaner. You need more cooking pans and little updates. The BBQ grill is really in bad shape too. Last yer we stayed in a house a few streets over that was impeccable. Despite these little things,our overall stay was ve fun and enjoyble. We would do it again. A great time in a great home Hans-Rudolf Radelfinger from Berne Switzerland, Stayed for 0 days in July, 2010 We spent 8 days in the tuscany villa and we were very happy with everyting. We cooked always on our own and enjoyed the well equiped kitchen very much. After dinner a swim in the pool was superb and the soccer worldcup games on the large TV screen was perfect. The house is close to the beach but also to the grocery store and Naples downtown. If we are next time in Naples we will come back again.		Overall Satisfacation

A nice place to relax and vacation. My only two issues were that the internet connection did not work very well and that while the house was clean there were some cock roaches in the master room on two different nights. Nice location in a neighborhood Mary from Mn, Stayed for 0 days in March, 2010 Wi Fi Internet connection did not always work in the house, We had 4 computers and had to keep moving where they would connect in the kitchne area. The pool never heated up enough for everyone to swim as it was cold at night and there was no cover; too small a heater. Coffeepot, pots and pans and serving pieces were inadequate for a crowd. Location was good to Vanderbilt beach; Close to grocery store and drug store. Being able to do Laundry in the garage worked great. The 3 beds were good.The 2 bathroooms were good also. Need Bar chairs in the kitchen not counter chairs; too low. Property Manager Response: Thank you for your comments & feedback. Though we are not sure what kind of computers they were using, we can say that some MAC computers have had difficulty connecting to our Wi-Fi hardware. Regrettably, Naples experienced record breaking cool temperatures during their stay. The pool heater is appropriately sized for normal conditions. This was a wide spread problem in that they equipment just simply couldn't keep up with Mother Nature's cold spell. These record low temperatures were especially harsh on the fish & wildlife, citrus crops and landscaping throughout Naples. Thanks for your feedback on the kitchen items, we will look into further.
