Il Poggiarone is a splendid farmhouse with typical Tuscan architectural features, set in an extremely panoramic position and the ideal destination for those who are looking for a holiday which is a mix of art, history and nature. The beautiful farmhouse that we are proposing is near the owner’s house and part of a farm which stretches for many hectares in the hills of Montepulciano. The surrounding area is not only famous for its production of fine wines such as Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, but also for the presence of many important towns of historical and noble origins. Montepulciano is only a few kilometres from the house. It is considered the Pearl of the 1500’s and with its buildings and churches is the highest expression of Renaissance architecture. There is a swimming pool (6 x 12 metres) only a few metres from the house in the large garden, equipped with garden furniture and a children’s play area. Mountain bikes can be rented and a washing machine is available. The house has been comfortably furnished with typical Tuscan furniture. Satellite TV. Due to the way it has been divided (separate entrances and three kitchens) the house is suitable for the accommodation of several family groups who decide to spend their holidays together while maintaining their independence.
