If the cabin was cleaned it would have been a perfect vacation. We took our first day cleaning the cabin and washing bed sheets and towels. We had only one set of towels for a week stay but we called and the property manager brought a second set of towels, thanks. We were credited for our cleaning. Property Manager Response: Response from Nevaeh Cabin Rentals This was a group of guests that we were unable to please from day one. We sent the housekeeper back out as soon as they called with a concern for her to address their problems and complaints. They were extremely rude to her and instead of telling her what they thought she should correct they started telling her whoever cleaned should have been fired. She explained it was she that cleaned and as she entered the cabin they did not tell her the items they thought she needed to re-clean, but instead complained that they had to do all the cleaning themselves. They complained of linens not being washed which was not true. When I myself went by the cabin they were washing the linens again and I told them to wash them if they wanted but they would look the same because they had already been laundered. They asked our office for more towels and there were already 3 to 4 sets per bathroom and the cabin has 3 bathrooms so you do the math. This statement of one set of towels for the week was not true. I myself went by and took them 9 new bath towels and hand towels in addition to the ones that were already there. We aim to please all our guests and as I told them we had NEVER had a complaint with the cleanliness of our cabins and they were a first. It's funny that they complained about cleaning themselves when they would not tell the housekeeper their specific things they thought needed to be re-cleaned. We did credit them the cleaning fee since they felt like they needed to clean but they also failed to mention the addtional discount they received also off their stay with us. We pride ourselves in our overall satisifaction for our guest but there are some you can't please. Read the rest of the reviews and see for yourself. It was able to accommodate the additional family members who would not fit in Bear Mountain Lodge. This cabin actually had better kitchen appliances and utensils etc than did the lodge. It was within easy walking distance of the Lodge, so we all felt very connected during our stay. With as great as a vacation as that was, it did not compare to the week my wife and I spent at the Berrific View. An amazing vacation that just overwhelms you with peace and serenity.
