The main level of Western Escape features an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. The living room has leather couch and love seat, gas log fireplace and Flat Screen with a Satellite receiver and a DVD player, alarm system and free WIFI.
There are 2 master suites with beautiful log beds on the main floor. The first King Master has TV with a Satellite receiver and a walk out onto the back deck. There are great views right from the bed. This bedroom has a full master bath with double vanity, stand-alone shower and Jacuzzi tub. The 2nd King Master has TV with Satellite, walk out to back deck and adjacent full bath.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessities waiting for you and a 6-person dining table and bar area that seats 2. The most charming amenity is the tranquility you will feel from the rocking chairs on the porch area. Take in all the characteristics of our beautiful mountains and watch the sky change colors.
The lower level features a King Master Suite with a private living room with a Satellite TV and DVD player. This room also walks onto the lower deck where you can soak and relax in the hot tub overlooking the mountain ridges.
There is an additional living room on the lower level that features bunk beds, a futon and a Satellite TV. There is also a recreational area in the 3rd living room with Ping Pong, Air Hockey and Foosball and more.
This rental is Pet-Friendly with a 2 pet limit. If you will bring your pet there will be a $10 fee per Pet per Night and an $20 additional pet cleaning fee.

Our guests loved the house with the exception of the downstairs playroom. We had a couple of guests that stayed down there and there is no heat other then a gas stove in the other room. It was very cold for them. Also upon arrival the garbage cans were full. I called to report and was told that someone would come to empty them but this never happened. We had to leave our bags of garbage outside in bear country. Otherwise a great place. We will probably stay somewhere different next time just because we like to stay in different areas. It has been increasingly difficult to find a large cabin that is pet friendly & suitable for our growing family. This cabin fit the bill! The grandboys loved all the game tables in "their area" and the large kitchen was perfect for preparing meals...even big enough to set up a table for the children. We loved that all the beds were kings and very comfortable! The hot tub and the jetted tub in the master bath were added blessings. Everyone agreed that this stay was one of the best! The game room would have been great if the games would have been in good condition but they weren't. The air hockey table and foosball game were both missing parts of their legs so they weren't level...and the air hockey table wouldn't even turn on. The ping-pong table was beat up and just not in great shape.I would recommend this to friends because it is a nice cabin. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2010 Our family enjoyed the Western Escape cabin with Kaylor Montain Cabins for five days around July 4th. Combining three married couples and a 19 yr old in this cabin was a great experience and the cabin was outfitted really well. We enjoyed the decor and facilities, and the cabin was remote enough but still close enough to town. The wireless Internet access provided the linkage to the outside world so precious to the younger set these days, while the quiet and seclusion helped all to enjoy a slower, more relaxed pace. Eating, reading, catching up with one another, a little TV, and playing the Wii we brought filled plenty of time. The ping pong table, air hockey, and foosball gave plenty of options, and the hot tub was enjoyed every evening. River tubing, the 260 foot swinging bridge and other spots provided additional views to God's creation to bring us back to basics. Plus the Blue Ridge area provided plenty to get out and about to check out. The Western Escape was indeed an escape from the typical stresses of life. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
