Das Ferienhaus liegt nur etwa 60 m von der Küste, wo man ein flaches, kinderfreundliches Badeufer vorfindet. Der Küstenstreifen eignet sich daher auch perfekt zum Windsurfen oder für Paddeltouren mit dem Kajak. Kurze Anfahrt zum nächsten 18-Loch Golfplatz in reizvoller Umgebung. Für Gourmets bietet sich ein Abendessen im Falsled Kro an, das sich zu den besten Restaurants Dänemarks zählen darf. Ein Spaziergang am hübschen kl. Hafen ist immer eine schöne Abwechslung, außerdem kann man dort mit etwas Glück fangfrischen Fisch "erbeuten". Die größere Stadt Fåborg mit vielen Geschäften und Gaststätten liegt etwa 8 km entfernt. Vom Hafen dort verkehren einige Fähren zu benachbarten Inseln, eine gute Gelegenheit für einen Tagesausflug. Ein schöner Radweg, Øhavs-sti, führt von Svanninge Bakker und bis nach Svendborg an der Küste entlang.
