Great ski home! Dyane from Bowie MD, Stayed for 0 days in January, 2013 Super easy check in. The rental is on the slopes but I would not recommend the ski-in option for beginners. Very comfy! Kids had a great time with everything in the house. The house is very close to the lake and even closer to all the ski resort for the winter. I would stay there again for sure!! Overall the home was excellent. Govide's from Richmond, VA, Stayed for 0 days in January, 2012 We we're pleased with the home and all it had to offer. The backyard was an added bonus. We were disappointed that the "up-service" that was advertised was not at the house. There were no paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and coffee as stated and we had to go purchase these items rather than bring them from home as we would have done were it not advertised as having those items supplied. Property Manager Response: wow, I am very sorry to hear that our inspector did not set out the courtesy bag that we generally leave on the kitchen counter. You are right in that, if we say we are going to leave it for our guests, we need to do so. I will have a talk with your insepctor to find out what happened. Our apologies but I am glad to hear that you had an enjoyable stay at Tree House - a fine end unit townhome!		Overall Satisfacation
Nice vacation Mary from Pittsburgh, PA, Stayed for 0 days in August, 2011 We had four generations of family on vacation this year. We had plenty of room and the house was clean. We were also happy with the way the kitchen was stocked. There were plenty of dishes, pots, silverware, etc. We were disappointed that the quilts on the beds had not been changed from the last tenants. We had to wash two of them ourselves. Also, we were suppose to receive a text message when we could check in which we did not receive and so we tried the lock and entered the house around 5pm. The real estate was very helpful in all other aspects and made the process very easy. Property Manager Response: We are so unhappy with the quit situation and will immediately discuss that with the cleaning vendor as it is unacceptable to have anything below standard! Also it bums us out that our new feature, the ability to receive a text when a house is ready for our guests, did not work out. As this is a newly implemented feature (we guarantee to have the house ready by 4 PM but try to make it available earlier and notify our guests by text when they request this service) it is obvious that we somehow overlooked this with your reservation. We will have to check into why you did not receive your text; thank you for bringing this to our attention.		Overall Satisfacation

Great deep creek lover from Columbia Maryland, Stayed for 0 days in August, 2011 We stayed with kids and mom in law in august. We couldn't beat the price paid for the place and it had everything that we wanted and was super comfy as far as the furnishings go.The area is sooo quiet which was an added bonus. There were a few downfalls. It is advertised as having central air yet these are portable units and there was only one for the entire living area kitchen,living,dining. Needless to say it does not do the job when it's hot. Also there is no unit in the rec area where we tried to spend lots of time playing pool etc.. Only one window will open so it gets downright steamy on that level. Now these units worked wonderfully in the bedrooms as they are only meant to cool 300 sq ft. All in all a great value all around and the furnishings are great and comfy. We would stay here again. Property Manager Response: Thank you for your kind words and, more importantly, for your pointing out an error on our part. You are correct that the 4 interior units are not "central Air Conditioning" and we have made that correction in the advertisement. Window units don't accurately describe these units as they are not as offensive as window units, but they aren't central either. Unfortunately our software only allows either "central" or "window" but we have changed the description to "window" as then guests will be impressed with the quality of the AC units rather than let down that it is not "central". Again, thank you for pointing this out to us and we look forward to being your host on a future visit to Deep Creek Lake!		Overall Satisfacation

Nice kELLY from FAIRMONT, WV, Stayed for 0 days in April, 2011 The home was awesome and very clean!! There's quite a bit to be desired in the back yard. Their were cigarette butts everywhere and a used tampon about 10 feet from the hot tub. The view was nice from the porch but if you walked to the corner of the yard (where the bank attaches), the litter was unbelievable. We picked up empty wiskey bottles, beer cans, fast food wrappers, and various other trash. Don't be a litter bug!!! Property Manager Response: We are so, so sorry that you experienced the terrible backyard. You are correct that apparently some wildlife got into some trash nearby and made an embarrassing mess! We did pick the trash up as it was reported to us by the next inspector and we definitely did not want this to be! Please accept our apologies for this - sometimes the wildlife (bears or raccoons usually) does get into trash not properly discarded in the metal container. Obviously by the inside of the home (no critters there) you can see that we try to provide a top notch, clean rental for all of our guests! Any other guests, if you ever find trash please do call our service # immediately so that we can remove it.		Overall Satisfacation
A Stay to Remember Kin from University of Maryland, College Park, Stayed for 0 days in February, 2010 This house was amazing. It takes care of you as soon as you walk into the door. It may seem small on the outside, but once you step in, you will be greeted with a spacious home. My group stayed for 3 days/2 nights and on the final day, we were regretting not booking a longer trip. This home is not like any other home. Well furnished with comfortable living areas and plenty of things to do, even if you were to get snowed in. A majority of us were so comfortable we didn't want to leave the house, when our original goal was to ski/snowboard! A spacious kitchen and living room allows everyone to enjoy their time together (cooking or lounging). There are classic movies for all to watch and the rec room can make hours pass like seconds. The Four levels provide many options for people who wish to have their own privacy and can sleep everyone comfortably. We went during a snowstorm so there was constant snowfall. Although that house is located at the top of a big hill, there is a truck that plows every couple hours making it the roads driveable. Very efficient! A+++++++++ for this house. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Usually I'm skeptical of reviews, but I took the time to write this. I hope this will help you make your decision. The Ski In/Ski out, is a bit further than expected. About a .1mile walk (5 minutes) and you start on a black diamond. The lift that returns you to your starting point closes at 4:30 as well. However, the house is 4 minutes away from the resort which is very close. The time might be even shorter, considering I'm timed my commute while it was snowing heavily and the roads were icy. Fabulous home with access to Main Street (ski slope) Sharon from Baltimore, Stayed for 0 days in December, 2009 Tree house is beautifully furnished with all the amenities one needs for a fabulous week on the slopes. My daughters and I enjoyed the pool table, lovely warm fires in the living room and couldn't wait to enjoy the hot tub after a long day of skiing. It was especially nice to receive the welcome package which included some paper goods and bathroom supplies. The house was well stocked with cleaning supplies and garbage bags and access to the neighborhood dumpster was walking distance. For those who ski, it was a short walk to the top of the street and then a short hike through the woods to access Main Street and one of the chair lifts to the other side of the mountain. We had a lovely trip and look forward to going back soon.		Overall Satisfacation
Bring in the New Year! Jtbaseball25 from Pittsburgh, Stayed for 0 days in December, 2009 Our group really enjoyed our stay at Deep Creek this year. We had a great time and the house was really nice. We had 10 people that easily fit, and could have had a few more if needed. There was a lot of room to hang out and do things. The only problems that we encountered were the amount of snow that we had being on the hill and early check in. We had to push our one friends car up the hill a good 30 yards to the parking lot because the roads were so bad. The other thing was that we thought we were going to be able to get early check in around 2 or 3 but had to wait until 4 and the guy didnt text me. It was ok though because we just hung out at Uno and the Honi-Honi bar(highly recommended) All in all it is a very nice place and the service of offlake rentals from day one planning the trip was outstanding. We didnt have any problems and they were very flexable. I would go back and rent from them without a doubt!		Overall Satisfacation
