Great place to stay A guest from Clarkston, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 Spent 4 days in mccall over first weekend of winter carnival. The place was very nice and definetly met our expectations. Only problem we had was getting gas fireplace to work. Pilot would light and thats it. We may not have known what we were doing. Only other drawback would be if you had multiple vehicles and snowmobiles parking is limited especialy with snow. Had trailer and 1 vehicle which was about all there was room for. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 We arrived at the cabin on a Friday night, we had a little trouble finding it due to the directions from the agency. They said "go out to the stop light and take a left." I didn't know where the stop light was and I got kinda lost and the map they gave us was difficult to read, I had to enter the address into my GPS so it took a while to find it. However, once we did find it we found that there was an easy route in and out of town to the cabin. The cabin was very cute and clean. There was everything you might need to cook with in the kitchen and then some. One big issue we had is that there were only two wash cloths for the bathrooms. There were three of us and we didn't want to share so it would've been nice to just have a few, at least enough for the maximum number of occupants. The other issue we had was that we couldn't FOR THE LIFE OF US figure out how to turn the fire place on. We tried every switch and remote we saw and read the directions under the fire place but we never figured it out. It would be helpful to have something that tells us how to use it. While there are a bunch of negative things in this review, I would like to point out that it was a lovely place and a great stay. Just some little changes would've made it that much better. We had to shower down the street at the clubhouse. I would suggest that maintenance run the water as part of their prep when the home hasn't been used for awhile. Spring Mountain Ranch Mary R. from Eagle, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2007 My family and I love staying in McCall, especially in Spring Mountain Ranch. In Sept. 2007 we stayed at Prince Crossing. The home was well kept with very nice furnishings. The down side was the t.v. did not work because the owner had not paid there satellite bill. Normally, I'd say we are not on vacation to watch t.v., but we were there for three nights and there are just so many card and board games you can play. So it was a bit frustating. Otherwise we had an enjoyable stay. I would recommend that you double check with Accommodation Services first if the phone and satellites are indeed working. (This was not the first time we have stayed at one of their properties and have had an issue with one of those items.)
