Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 This rustic cabin is a complete getaway from civilization (no tv, wi-fi, dishwasher, etc). We felt relaxed and loved the location on the lake. It was a bit noisy at night, as there is no air-conditioning. Open windows kept us aware of our neighbors. Its a perfect spot on the lake. The dock is in great condition. The interior has a very rustic look with its knotty pine walls. The covered porch is ideal for lounging and viewing the lake. We would definately come back to this home. The location on the lake was wonderful, the large windows and covered deck were perfect for lake gazing, private dock and beach wonderful for lazing. Only thing that I'd say was negative is that the loft sleeping area requires navigating extremely steep steps with several turns which can be difficult at best for older or younger guests. Great Cabin, pretty view. Lisa T. from Caldwell, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2010 we will stay at this cabin again, only 3 things I would change, more kitchen utensils,cable television,bigger and better master bedroom bed, it was very much in need of replacement can feel the coils in places. oh and the outside lights need to be fixed or replaced same in the mud room too. The steps down to the dock are in disrepair and need to be fixed before someone gets hurt. Overall it was a great stay and we'd stay again. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2007 THIS CABIN WAS VERY DIRTY INSIDE AND OUT.THE MASTER BEDROOM WAS FURNISHED HORRIBLY WITH BARGIN FLEA MARKET FINDS,IE. BROKEN LAMP,NO HEADBOARD,PAINTED BLUE DRESSER AND END TABLES WITH SEVERE WATER DAMAGE.LIVING ROOM WAS BETTER BUT VERY DIRTY,IE.STICKY DRINK RINGS ON TABLES AND DUST AN INCH THICK HERE AND THERE. KITCEN/BATH WERE THE CLEANEST. LETTUCE IN DRAWER. COFFEE MAKER WAS BROKEN AND WAS REPLACED. PATIO:LOOKED LIKE IT HADN'T BEEN SWEPT SINCE THE SNOW MELTED OFF AND THE BAR-B-QUE WAS VERY OLD AND COVERED IN DIRT AND GRIME. IT WAS IN THE ADVERTISEMENT BUT DID'T HAVE PROPANE HOOKED TO IT. IN OTHER WORDS:THE OVER 200.00 TAG PER NIGHT WAS A FARCE. THE YARD WAS VERY UNKEPT CHAIRS THAT FIT THE DECK AND THE VEIW OBSCURED BY OVERGROWTH THAT NEEDED CLEARED. TV: DIDN'T WORK AND EVEN THE DVD WAS BROKEN OR UNHOOKED FROM THE TV. THE HOSE BY FRONT DOOR WAS SO OLD IT HAD ROTTED AWAY LAYING THERE ON THE GROUND. ALSO,IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH STEPS,THEY ALSO WERE IN BAD NEED OF REPAIR AND DANGEROUS. I APPEALED TWICE FOR SOME KIND OF REFUND OR EVEN ACKOWLEDGEMENT OF THE WASTED MONEY (OVER $800.00) I USED FOR THIS VACATION FOR MY SON,MYSELF AND HUSBAND. TO SAY THE LEAST WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OUR STAY AND TRIED TO MAKE THE BEST OF IT. I HAVE RENTED FROM THIS COMPANY FOR 20 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. IT MAKES ME VERY LEARY OF EVER RENTING FROM THEM AGAIN IF THIS IS THE KIND SITUATION THEY FIND ACCEPTABLE. P.S. I HAVE RENTED HUCKLEBERRY ROSE CABIN AND ALTHOUGH AN OLDER HOUSE,IT WAS CLEAN AND ALL THE AMMENITIES LISTED WERE IN WORKING ORDER.
