The house is great. A few things that you need to be aware of are that there are no closets which mean there is no place to hang clothes. Also, there is no longer a good place to dock smaller boats. The brand new dock is nice but very high up and makes it hard to get in and out of a boat. Also there is no place to store your items in the 2nd bathroom. Not a huge deal but can be frustrating when trying to get ready. We did purchase an iron and ironing board while there that we left. This is a minor item that comes in handy. With that being said we did love the property. The grounds are fantastic. The house is very clean. We spent a wonderful week there and would love to go back in the future.

Beautiful house! Perfect location! We LOVE the pool! Its shallow, but you really don't need a deep pool so close to the ocean/bay. Perfect for relaxing with friends and family after a long day fishing and boating. We absolutely would stay there again!

Overall our family vacation was very nice. the location was great, the property was in good shape, but mechanically the house needed some help. The a/c unit in the cabana was not operational, the bottom freezer door on the refrig was difficult to open, the stereo system was non operational (luckily we brought a portable sound system), furniture in living room needed some help, and master bedroom a/c couldn't keep up. So, that was some of the not so good. Here are some of the good. The property was in great shape. The putting green, bocce ball court, etc was a cool area. The pool was great after a day of fishing and/or diving to just relax with friends and have a beer. The kitchen was as advertised, very nice. Also, the dock was well built and accommodated our 31' boat nicely (a hose on the dock would be a nice addition). So overall, my family had a great vacation and we enjoyed ourselves. If the maintenance on the property would have been better the trip would have rated a 10.

This home fit our needs. We had our privacy. The pool is small and shallow but perfect to cool off and the small kids enjoyed playing in it. Yes it does leak and you must fill it. The lagoon has no circulation and is stagnant and a bit messy. The dock between the house and guest house is in disrepair. The new dock worked great for our 26' boat. Would have been nice to have power and water to the boat. We bought extension cords and hoses. The guest from worked great for our 3 girls. They loved it. The main house is what I would have expected in the Keys. It need some repairs here and there but they would not keep me from renting it. The furniture is worn but with kids, that was not a problem. The music did not work while we were there and that was disappointing. They are only very few pots and pan for cooking. We had to improvise a lot. Trash was another problem, as the trash cans have no lids and we had nightly visitors who got into the trash making a mess everywhere. The beds are comfy and the property manager was very attentive to our concerns. The house is for sale so I'm not sure the owners will make the investments to make the repairs on the home and property. I could recommend this property for 2 families, but don't have high expectations of luxury. It is a functional Keys vacation home.

That being said, here are is a list of things I LOVE about this property:1. Location is very secluded2. Best views of the bay we have had in any vacation rental3. Kitchen is awesome!4. Great views from inside the house5. Shower in master bath is awesome!6. Love the golf and bocce courts7. Music can be played anywhere in the house and outside...great ideaThe not so nice list:1. Living room furniture is worn and tired. Holes in arm rests in living room2. No closets in the bedrooms due to placement of AC handlers. Sleeping in the queen and twin rooms a little noisy.3. The "pool" is 3 feet deep on the deep end. Not exactly what you would expect when you hear a house had a "pool". This was a huge disappointment for the kids. (and adults)4. Pool furniture rusting and/or deteriorating. Lounge chairs are totally unusable.5. Detached bedroom reeks horribly of mold. Nice set up, tho.6. Louvered doors on bedrooms off the living room. Don't quite get this one. Makes sleeping in and going to bed early an issue for those in the main house as you can hear EVERYTHING, even with the doors closed. Something to keep in mind....That's all. My wife would go back to this rental in a second. She absolutely loved the place. I wouldn't.

THIS PROPERTY IS VERY PRIVATE AND HAS ALOT OF EXTRAS LIKE OUTDOOR SHOWER, LONG SEA WALL TO FISH FROM, NICE SEPARATE GUEST HOUSE AND OUTSIDE AND INSIDE STEREO. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THAT THE WALLS NEEDED RESURFACING. THEY WERE PEELING IN ALMOST EVERY ROOM. AN EASY FIX TO A GREAT HOUSE. ALSO, THE POOL LEAKED, SO WE NEEDED TO FILL WITH HOSE IN THE MORNINGS. OUTSIDE GAMES AND GOLF WERE A PLUS. ALL IN ALL A GREAT HOUSE.

This is our second stay at this property and just love it. Beautiful house with a guest house, great location for fishing and getting lobster. We asked for some additional items after our first visit and the management company took care of the items. During this stay we had a few minor issues and once again the management company immediately took care of them. Already booked it for next year.
