Access: motorway A38 Exeter - Plymouth. Then road A387 Plymouth - Looe. Railway station "Liskeard" 13 km. Harbour Plymouth 30 km. Car ferry Plymouth / Roscoff - Plymouth / Santander 30 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Exeter (EXT) 80 km. The town developed around a former fishing and smuggling port. With its narrow streets, the town is traditional and has a nice atmosphere. It is also a major centre for shark fishing.
