Large 5 bed Islington townhouse. 5 minute walk to Angel station and sleeps 10.

This large, Georgian townhouse is situated in the borough of Islington, a desirable residential area just north of central London.

The lower-ground floor is open-plan, complete with a dining area. The kitchen boasts ample surface space for preparing meals with all the modern conveniences, including a juicer, coffee maker and a large fridge/freezer. The room is stylishly designed with an excellent chrome and white finish. French windows open onto a large garden with two patios. The garden has outdoor furniture and even a barbecue for summer al-fresco dining.

On the ground floor there is a convenient, recently renovated bathroom with bath, shower, loo and sink. The tiles are a nod towards the Mediterranean mood of the Roman era.

The large living room boasts beautiful period features including crisp, white ceiling roses and cornices. The original fireplace and sash windows have been well-preserved to maintain the traditional Georgian feel, and a spectacular arched front window looks out onto the lovely front garden. There are a number of choice pieces of furniture and these, along with some interesting antiques and artwork, give the room an artistic and cultured tone. In this room, you'll also find a TV, DVD player and a satellite box.

On the the first floor the master bedroom has extremely high-ceilings. The beautiful white ceiling roses circle a delightful chandelier which, along with the crimson walls, give the room a feel of opulence. The large windows allow for plenty of natural light and there are even two Juliette balconies with views of the front garden. The wooden floors compliment the wooden shutters and furniture, including a delightful antique dresser. The king size bed truly completes the room.

The smaller double room has funky wall paper below the architrave and offers views of the garden and neighbouring greenery.

The top floor has stunning views over London from the roof-top terrace, accessed through mansard doors. There is another double bed and interesting artwork. The bedroom features an en-suite shower room complete with loo and sink.

This property is only a 5 minute walk to Angel Underground station. From here it is only 10 minutes on the Northern line to central London and minutes from Euston and King's Cross mainline stations. The area of Islington boasts many great pubs, bars and restaurants and a number of stunning old buildings including the Almeida Theatre. There's a shopping mall with a cinema and a variety of boutiques. There's a further independent cinema on Upper Street. You won't be short of supermarkets either, with all of the major supermarkets just a 5 minute walk away.

Please note, this property comes with a resident cat who will be fed by a friendly neighbour. The cat is an elderly, but very affectionate, lady of 14 years called Ruby.
