Lovely 5 bedroom family home in the upmarket Queen's Park, perfect for families!

This Victorian townhouse is in the lovely area of Queen's Park. A 2 minute walk to the nearest station, means you can whizz down to Oxford Street in less than 30 minutes.

The main living area has a spacious open-plan kitchen and living room. The kitchen has white fitted cupboards, wooden flooring and worktops, and it is well-equipped with everything you'll need to cook a scrumptious dinner, including a large cooker and hob, a microwave, and a stylish Belfast sink.

There is an original fireplace, an armchair, a kitchen table and chairs near the back of the room where you'll also find an L shaped sofa, bookshelving, a pink pouf and a flatscreen tv. There are very impressive folding glass doors which really bring the garden into the home, and outside, there is a table with benches and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining.

There is a second and very elegant reception room with two sofas, a glass coffee table and another original fireplace at the front of the property. With a huge bay window and many stylish antique furniture, it's a lovely place to relax and read a book.

Upstairs you will find the master bedroom which has a double bed, two dark wood bookcases and a leather sofa under the bay window. There's a walk-in wardrobe and a brand new en suite bathroom with a shower unit, sink and loo.

The second bedroom on this floor has a single bed, a chest of drawers and a bedside table. The third bedroom has white bunk beds an original fireplace and a leather armchair. The family bathroom is brand new with beige tiling, a glass shower unit, double sinks, a loo and a heated towel rail.

On the top floor you'll find another double bedroom with velux windows, a chest of drawers and stylish bedside tables. The fifth bedroom in this large house has a single bed, built-in shelving and a velux window. The bathroom between the two bedrooms on this top floor has a modern bath, sink and loo.

This family home is in a lovely area with the open-space of Queen's Park only a short stroll away. Here there are plenty of things to do with the children: tennis courts, a pitch and putt course, a playground, a paddling pool, an animal farm and a café. For adults there are lots of good pubs and restaurants in the area. Maida Vale, or ‘Little Venice' just to the South has many more cafes and boutiques to enjoy too.

You are only a 2 minute walk from Brondesbury Park Overground station which has good transport links to East and West London. From here, it takes 23 minutes to reach Oxford Circus. Or, if you fancy a stroll, you could walk to the Kilburn station in about 15 minutes and take advantage of the Jubilee line. With good transport connections, lots of space and a garden, this home is an ideal choice for a family stay.

The pastel-coloured homes are as iconic to London as Big Ben, and Portobello Market is a classically British attraction. With stalls of antiques, jewellery, furs, fresh street food and often performers amid the upmarket shops, this in an area which must be visited. Refuel in one of the charming cafes with a cappuccino and some artisan treats, or perhaps choose one of the many restaurants for an impressive dining experience. For cinema with a difference, the Electric Cinema offers leather armchairs, footstools and cashmere blankets.

Nearby Westbourne Grove is the perfect spot for some shopping and brunch at Nicole Farhi's 202 which comprises both café and fashion boutique. The area has also had an association with artists and ‘alternative' culture for some time with Notting Hill Arts Club a ‘muso' favourite.
