Nestled on a leafy and charming residential road near the vibrant area of Clapham common this modern two bedroom garden apartment (entrance is on the lower ground) is a perfectly located for the overseas traveller who is looking for a true to life London experience.

On approaching the property you are stuck by its attractive period exterior and large sash windows. The entrance leads into a hallway and then on into a large living and dining area which is flooded with natural light and well proportioned for up to six guests. The minimal yet stylish décor ensures that the property is appealing to all tastes. Leading on through the kitchen, which looks out onto the private patio area, holds all the modern amenities that any guest might need during their visit. Throughout the property the rooms are spot lit which ensures that throughout the year the home is well lit and this is also emphasised but the sheer amount of windows in the property.

On the left as you enter the property are two spacious and simply designed bedrooms. The master bedroom has plenty of storage space and leads directly onto the living room. The recently refurbished bathroom is situated near the second bedroom and hosts a stylish cream interior with tiled walls around the bath. On request, an additional double height luxury air mattress can be provided so as to sleep a total of 6 guests.

Leading outside you have private access to the wooden patio area which is located around the side of the property and is the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring London!

A short ten minute walk from the property you will find Clapham High Street with its plethora of shops and places to eat. The common itself is the perfect public park to explore and get a breath of fresh air as well as to take in any of the local festivals or events which often take place there. In particular the house is in easy reach of Abbeville Village and Northcote Road with their quaint English appeal and array of boutique shops. For something special explore the weekend markets with snacks, meals, flowers and art.

For transport Clapham Common tube station is a convenient 10 minute walk away from the property and serves London's Underground on the Northern line.


Area Description: "Clapham is a hub of activity, with a great range of restaurants, busy bars and cafes. On the high street, there is everything for an evening out, from steakhouses, to clubs, to independent cinemas, and many bars in between. Venn Street, near the Common, is a cobbled side street and home to Venn St Records, a quirky bar with a relaxed vibe and live music and restaurants with many different types of food.

Head to Clapham Common in the summer for a picnic or towards Clapham Junction there is another fantastic collection of eateries and drinking spots. Popular chains such as Vodka Revolutions doesn't take away from the many one-off bars in the area, and on Saturdays you'll find market stalls and antique markets to explore. Stroll along Northcote Road and you'll find many trendy bars and restaurants, including The Bank in a beautiful period building, and upmarket boutiques as well as gelato shops, delicatessens and many upmarket interior design shops.

Clapham is a popular area for those in their twenties and early thirties, as well as families, with many large Victorian townhouses and both Clapham and Wandsworth Commons nearby. The neighbourhood known as ‘Between the Commons' is home to some lovely family homes. Nearby Clapham Junction is a large transport hub, with direct trains to Victoria and central London as well as to Gatwick Airport and other parts of the UK."
