Yellowstone Pines Kori A. from Palos Heights, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We really enjoyed our time at Yellowstone Pines. We had more than enough space for our little family of 3! The home is well equipped, but I do have one recommendation: Upgrade the linens. The closet towels/linens were clean, but smelled mildewy. The bed pillows were all feather which caused some allergy issues for us. Luckily, we had brought our own allergenic covers. |

Enjoyable stay A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 Overall we had a nice time in the Yellowstone area. The property was right on the river, although there is barb wire to prevent you from getting to the river (easily gone over)but a little annoying. We had the wrong code to get in to the lock box but Wendy got back to us after about 15 minutes with the right code. The place was clean but there were tons of flys and bugs dead all over the house (it must have been sprayed) I expect bugs and flys in the area but to have them dead all over the cooking and preparing surface was not desireable. But the ovens, dishwasher, bar-b-que and bathrooms were spotless. We considered ourselves very lucky to find Yellowstone Pines and had a nice time. If you are visiting Yellowstone just note that it is about a 45 minute drive to the north gate and to Gardiner. Not really complaining since the drive is beautiful but if you realize it adds about 1 1/2 hours a day everytime you go it adds up. Also it got up in to the 90s while were were there so the house took along time to cool down. It would have been nice to have a fan in every room (a real fan). There was one small fan we found in the master closet and it put out so little volume it was almost useless. I know it might not be needed often but this summer it would have made the difference between an amazing stay and a nice visit. Also, the guest house gets very hot and is slow to cool down. FANS, FANS, FANS. The light in the laundry room was out and we had to use a flash light to do laundry by. (I'm sure we could have called to have it replaced but we didn't notice until the second to the last day) We white water rafted and went ducking kayaking (blow up kayaks) at Montana White Water in Gardiner. We were very happy with staff and experience. Overall again a very nice visit at Yellowstone Pines. |
