Loony Loon A guest from Guilford, CT recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2011 Adequate unit. Very nice wood stove that gets very warm.Ice maker not working. No "mud" room at the entry for boots and skies and no shuttle to Loon. Suggestions for the owners: Get a night stand for each side of the bed in master br. One is not enough. Put a lamp on one of them that is plugged into an outlet that is activated by the switch nearest the door. That way the room can be lighted upon entry. Non-stick pans would be easier to clean. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2010 The property was very nice. we enjoyed the accommodations, except for a few small but annoying things - you really should provide more bath towels, and there were no tissues in one of the bathrooms. also, the pillows in the fancy shams should have had pillowcases on them so we could use them at night. otherwise, it was very nice. the ceiling fans in the bedrooms made the rooms very comfortable at night and we didn't need air conditioning. there were some Lincoln Logs and books for my younger daughter which were appreciated. i really enjoyed relaxing on the porch. Since we didn't stay over a weekend, the location was fine, and convenient to anything we needed in town. The only downside was just one chair on the balcony and some traffic noise from the Interstate when the windows were open. We had a great stay.
