This house was built in 1879 By Dr. Alton who started Cornell Medical School. This is a very special location on the West Shore of Lake Placid with unobstructed views of the high peaks area of the Adirondacks.
It is fully equipped and have Seven (7) Bedrooms and Three(3) Baths, two Living Rooms, a Screened in Back Porch, with a second Kitchen and Dining Area. The Veranda has the best views of the Adirondacks as well as Rocking Chairs, Hammocks, etc. Plus there is a Balcony on second floor. Fourteen (14) Plus can sleep in the special Adirondack Camp. A 1500 SQ-FT Log guest house is available with the main house. Boat is included as the house is boat access only. A great spot for Family Reunions with 20 miles of State Land attached to the property. BEST FISHING IN NY STATE RIGHT OFF OUR PRIVATE DOCK.
