Stayed for 5 days in March, 2012 We stayed in B801 of the Hololani and found the unit very clean, well appointed and with a wonderful lanai that looked out over the ocean and pool. Ten or so minutes from Kaanapali/Whaler's village, ten minutes from Fleming Beach for boogie boarding with the boys. Wonderful property. The unit was fabulous, very clean and looked to be newly remodeled. The grounds are gorgeous, the buildings sitting right next to the beach - unbelievable views of Molokai and sunsets. We snorkeled right out front of the complex and saw beautiful fish and swam with the turtles. A wonderful location. Hololani Vacation A guest from Oyama, British Columbia Canada recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in January, 2010 We have stayed at the Hololani several times in the past several years, and each time we have had a very enjoyable vacation. Usually, we stay in the A building, but this time we stayed in the B side. The condo we stayed in was not our favorite, because it was at the opposite end of the building as the ocean and we were right on the street, where we would awake to the sounds of the garbage truck slamming around and street noises, such as motorcycles and vehicle horns and motors... As well, for at least 6 days out of 14 we had no elevator and we were on the 8 floor. This is the first trip to the Hololani that there seemed to be many owners staying in their condos, and most were not friendly! On the positive side, the room was recently tiled, and that was very nice. The bathrooms were also, recently tiled. So relaxing, views were great, convenient location for a great price during the holiday season. Our teenagers were disappointed that the beach was so tiny, but with all the public beaches elsewhere around Maui it didn't pose much of a problem. I'd recommend this property to anyone.
