Neighbour 30 m away is cottage 8121, which shares spacious lakeshore sauna. Lakeshore sauna located midway between cottages. Cottage has high standard furnishings and maintained yard area. Peaceful location, only 2 cottages (this one and 8121) along 1000 m shore/ in 22 ha area. L.Ylä-Jäppäjärvi is famous for its pike perch. 250 m from cottage are Jäpänkoski rapids, where a lean-to can be used by both cottages. Horse riding opportunities 9 km. In autumn small game hunting possible (licences necessary). For hikers, 5 km away is Peuranpolku hiking trail, forming part of European hiking trail network.
