This comfortable, cozy cabin is conveniently located off in the lovely Kingswood Estates neighborhood. This four bedroom and three bath home is 2,400 square feet of luxury mountain living, tastefully decorated in a casual and eclectic style with EVERYTHING upgraded. The NEW stone fireplace is outfitted with a gas insert, for quick warmth and ambiance at the touch of a button. The NEW kitchen is fully equipped with a restored, 1946 O'Keefe & Merritt range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, KitchenAid dishwasher, stainless GE wall oven/microwave, and countertops of Granite & Caesarstone with a tumbled marble backsplash. The bathrooms are all NEW and improved, with granite tops, slate tile flooring and rustic tile showers. No room has gone untouched!
The one and a half story home will sleep ten comfortably. There are two queen bedrooms on the ground floor, including a new master suite, with private bath. The second queen room has a cozy feel, with a four-poster pine & iron bed and beamed ceiling. Across the hall is a fully renovated bath with a large glassed in shower. There are two bedrooms upstairs; one with a lodgepole pine queen bed and a twin daybed, and the second with 3 twin beds. An updated, shared tub/shower bathroom is between. All beds have new mattress pads, pillows and down comforters.
The property backs up to the national forest for a peaceful and relaxing setting. Cross country ski, or snowshoe, out the back door in winter, and hike, bike or jog through North Tahoe Regional Park in the summer. The bike/ski trail is accessed via a pathway through the forest behind the home. The 600-square foot deck boasts a stainless steel gas grill and a cable railing for unobstructed views of the tranquil forest and a HOT TUB and BBQ.
Brockway Golf Course, Lake Front Beaches, Northstar Resort, and the North Shore Casinos are all just minutes away. For additional shopping and fine dining, the charming town of Truckee is a 15 minute drive, Tahoe City a 20 minute drive, or Incline Village a 10 minute drive.
