CH101- Bay House in Kill Devil Hills - August 2012 Paras P. from Harrisburg, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 This is a really nice house with a good location. Our family had a lot of fun. The house itself was clean and well maintained.My only bone was with the property management company, we were assured that when we get there the key to the rental property would be available with our name in the drop box besides the rental office; when we go there around 6 pm the key was not there; for both the phone numbers provided nobody picked up the phone and there was NO emergency number for us to contact. That was unacceptable as it was late and we were 7 people stranded and did not know what to do next. We finally rummaged around and found a Home maintenance number from a packet that was left for some other folks. It was really unacceptable. Quiet and Relaxing but a bit of a travel for the beach Lisa P. from Mechanicsville, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 Missy was fabulous, she found us a place that fit our needs considering short notice and only 4 days. I would have liked closer to the beach and the drive was a bit much but the house view was beautiful and the place was great for vacation. The house is a bit dated and I think it's settling as some parts seem uneven, the master bath has cobwebs on the walls in the shower and we did end up finding a blender couldn't decide if it was one or not but it worked it was huge and interesting to operate. They need a gas grill, only suggestion.Slightly dated furniture but clean and the beds were comfy, pool was awesome too! Overall it's an 8.5 out of 10, can't really complain about anything as it was vacation and we had fun! nice relaxing stay A guest from Cross Lanes, WV recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 The home was nice- I felt it was nicer than pictured. Yard was not very usable- stays wet and the little sitting area by the water was cluttered. Overgrown greenery & vines on the back steps were a safety hazard. View was lovely. Neighborhood exceeded my expectations and the playground was nice. Trashcans did not have bags in them. my stay A guest from East Liverpool, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 we needed to have a broom and mop, the floors could have been cleaned better when we arrived, the grass was high but i contacted the realty office and the owner cut it by day 2 of our stay and again on Thursday. The couch was a little uncomfortable but it was a nice location and place to stay for the week near the beach!
