Stayed for 21 days in March, 2014
The bedroom sliding door was off the track when I arrived creating a safety issue and a terrible noise due to the wind whistling through it. It was dealt with promptly by staff.?Building maintenance was great. Grounds and pool kept in wonderful condition.?The condition of the condo was terrible. There was a thick layer of dust and hair around the edges of the carpet and the area between the air conditioner and wall appeared never to have seen a vacuum cleaner. I realized after I vacuumed the carpet area that it was a different color after I had vacuumed, the color difference being the dust that I removed. The quality of sofa in the living room was POOR. One could only sit in the center of the sofa as it was sunk so low and was very uncomfortable. Really needs replacing. You couldn't sit on either end as you kept rolling into the center.? The bed was very comfortable and appliances were good. A better selection of cooking pots and some storage containers would be nice. The dinner ware was good. Does any condo ever have a decent sharp knife?? Nice to have a new washer and dryer.?There was no lightbulb in one of the living room lamps. After obtaining one I discovered the lamp switch was broken and the lamp useless.location? (convenience, safety, view, etc.)?Walking to shopping areas was hazardous on South Kihei Road.I would recommend the property but certainly not unit B502. It needs some updating, very old kitchen cabinets and broken countertop area.

Stayed for 6 days in December, 2013
The condo is in a great central location to access all of Maui. This unit was great, but had a few maintenance issues. We called the management company to report them, and they seemed eager to get them fixed up. The biggest issue was that the curtains in the bedroom were very thin, and there was a very bright "exit" sign in the hallway outside that shined crazy bright all night. We ended up hanging the bedspread over the curtain rod to try to dim it, and that was barely enough.
