This 1680 square foot unit has been professionally decorated, and the owner has put a lot of thought and personal attention into this magnificent property. This condo features two master suites that you can retreat to with king sized beds and private bathrooms. The first master bedroom features a flat screen TV and DVD player, entrance to private balcony, oversize tub, and separate shower to soak your tired muscles in after an active day. The second master bedroom features a flat screen TV, entrance to the larger balcony, and jetted tub with separate shower.
The guest bedroom has a queen sized bed with TV and entrance to the larger balcony. Across the hall is the bathroom with oversize shower. You will also find the private washer and dryer for the unit in this bathroom. When you enter the unit, you will notice the gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and wine cooler. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need to cook a meal away from home.
The living room features a beautiful stone fireplace with gas logs, flat screen TV above the fireplace, DVD player, CD player, and stereo system with speakers. The dining room table is set up to seat 6 people; however there is a leaf insert for the table in the closet and two additional chairs to seat up to 8 people. There are 3 additional barstools in the kitchen. If you need to do some work away from home, you will enjoy the free internet access.
The many windows and the balcony will allow you to enjoy views of the ski slopes, trees, and mountain. Lone Eagle has a partially covered balcony on the first floor if you want to watch the skiers come down to the base of River Run.
Ski down to the lift, which is approximately 50 yards away and ski right up to the building at the end of your day. Ski lockers are just inside of the skier entrance at the back of the building. Lone Eagle is also just a short 2-3 minute walk into the heart of village where you will find restaurants, shops, and ski/bike rental facilities.
Lone Eagle is a 5 star Platinum-rated building. It is one of only two buildings in Keystone that is truly ski-in/ski-out. It was built in 2000 and features 58 condos in the entire building. The small size of the building allows guests to quietly enjoy the many amenities that Lone Eagle has to offer. Enjoy no hassle parking in the access controlled, heated parking garage under the building. If you are traveling with friends and family, you can gather in the lobby sitting areas and enjoy the fireplace or sit outside on the partially covered balcony and enjoy the mountain views. There is also a year-round heated pool and 8-person hot tub that is used exclusively by Lone Eagle guests. After a long day, you can enjoy the steam room and fitness facilities located on the first floor. Oversize ski lockers are also located on the first floor to store all of your equipment.

Would definitely stay there again! It's on the 4th floor with a partial view of River Run from each of the 3 rooms. Be aware that this condo only has wired internet access (it is free, but I had to buy an internet cable to connect since there wasn't one in the condo). Holiday Visit 2012 A guest from Penrose, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 My family and friends visted Keystone property that started out fine for a 4 day visit. The scarest part was on the last night we had the carbon monoxide dectector go off and we were told my the on-call maintenance company that as long as the fire place was off we would be okay. We did not feel comfortable with this answer and called the Keystone properties maintenance department that responded with the local fire department. These two groups were very kind use gas detectors to ensure that there was no leak. I was not happy with this along with little items such as only two thin pot holders (burned hands in the oven), limited to old dishes that would not allow large cooking portions for grown adults, to the living room DVD player having to be removed from the cabinet and placed on top for the connection cord to hook up to the TV. After we realized the keys were still in the unit from the previous renters it made us wonder if the unit had been cleaned. The security on the unit's door freely allowed it to open and our 2 year old could open. There was no dead bolt or chain to attach or keep the door closed. We will look into the immidiately. We will check the stock of the kitchen and restock as needed. We offer 7 day a week service and we would have been happy to address any issues while you were staying with us. The property was cleaned. Beds would have been unmade and towels would have been dirty. December 26th is the busiest time of the year and our cleaners most likely forgot to take the old cards with them. We are sorry for the concern this caused you. There are no chains on the door for saftey reason. We are sorry you were unfamilar with the operation of the dead bolt, but there is one there. The only negative was the bratty kids in the steam room (running in and out, leaving the door open, etc.) while some of us worked out -- but that's a problem their parents will have to fix down the road! Lone Eagle 3042 Sept 16-22 Neal H. from Wildwood, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2010 The condo and building were very nice and in a great location. It was one of the nicer condos we have rented in Keystone and we enjoyed our stay. We had a few issues you should know about in the condo... The oven didn't work and we lost a pan of brownies. Management was very responsive by bringing us a key for another condo with a working oven the following day, but it was too late for the brownies. The DVD player and connection to the TV in the family room could be upgraded, we ended up gathering in the bedroom to watch movies. A smoke detector battery went out and the detector started beeping. A guy vacuuming in the hallway gave a new battery and I replaced it. The bathroom sinks and vanities could have been cleaned better as there were still marks from prior use on the fixtures.
