Relax and spread out with 1045 square feet of space in this top floor unit with vaulted ceilings. the comfortable and oversized living room features a gas fireplace, new flat screen TV and Blu Ray player, and a pull out sleeper sofa. Sit on the spacious balcony and enjoy pretty mountain views. This condo is tastefully decorated and the owner has installed new carpet. The master bedroom has a king bed, TV, desk, private bath and great windows! The second bedroom has a queen bed, TV and access to the balcony. There is a sleeper sofa. The kitchen has all of the essentials to prepare a warm, home cooked meal. The dining table accommodates 6 people, while the bar in the kitchen will seat an additional 3 people.

APPROXIMITY TO ACTIVITIES ***** (5 Stars) It is conveniently located within walking distance to the gondola (150 yards), as well as the many restaurants, shops, and ski rental facilities. This condo is approximately 100 feet from the River Run village which features many excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals and great people watching.


BUILDING QUALITY & AMENITIES BUILDING ****(4 Stars) Buffalo Lodge was completed in the late 90?s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. This means there is less congestion in the building during busy times and all units are a short walk from the elevator. Speaking of elevators, there two high speed elevators that services only 90 units. There is an access controlled underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on both the first and fifth floor. Buffalo Lodge has a game room with two pool tables, bigscreen TV, and beautifully decorated gathering areas for large groups. This building also shares a heated pool , sauna, and two, eight person hot tubs with its sister building, Dakota Lodge. The pool and hot tubs have views of Dercum Mountain and the ski slopes. There is also a sauna on the first floor.

It was a beautiful property- too bad the gondolas were closed so we couldn't get to the mountaintop restaurants. The $150 cleaning charge is high- we left the place spotless and had to carry out our own trash. The first thing we did was turn the heat off. The next morning is was very dry- I found 3 humidifiers and plugged all three in immediately. We went through gallons of water in the humidifiers every day. Buffalo Lodge 8416 - 12/22 - 12/27/2011 Mark H. from Centerton, AR recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2011 Property was nice and convenient. Have stayed in Keystone 10 or more times, with either Keystone Resort managed properties or another prop mgt company, and the ones on this unit had more rules and potential penalities than others (like fines if you left a door or window unlocked, having to take final trash out of room, etc.). If room cleaned properly properly after you leave, these should be handled by normal room cleaners. Check in process was not bad, but might have been a litte more convenient. But, overall the stay was good and the property was good. I would recommend this unit and will likely try to utilize it again if price is right.
