This oversized, one bedroom condo has 655 square feet of space to enjoy. The condo is a corner unit and is located on the top floor of Expedition Station. It has vaulted ceilings and spectacular mountain views. Enjoy a great night's sleep on the brand-new king sized bed with luxurious bedding that was purchased in July 2010. The living room and the bedroom have cable TV and DVD players. The living room also features a gas fireplace and sleeper sofa that will sleep two additional people. New Carpet 2012! The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the essentials to cook a meal away from home with pots and pans, silverware, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, and blender. Four people can sit comfortably at the dining room table and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and ski slopes. To make the condo child friendly, all of the electrical outlets have covers. There is also a portable crib and lightweight stroller, so you don't have to pay to bring those items on the plane or pack them in the car. You will also enjoy the large selection of DVDs and games to play with the family in the condo (e.g. Scrabble, Monopoly, Jenga, Catch Phrase, Checkers, Chess, Dominoes, and puzzles).
This condo features views of the ski slopes and the Gore mountain range from the balcony. From the master bedroom and living room windows, you will see the ski slopes.
When you exit Expedition Station, you will have a 1-2 minute walk to excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals, and great people watching. It is also approximately 150 meters to the new high speed eight passenger gondola. In your ski boots and carrying your skis, it will take about five minutes to get to the gondola.
Expedition Station was completed in the late 90?s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. This means there is less congestion in the building during busy times and all units are a short walk from the elevators. There are two high speed elevators that service 91 units. There is an access controlled, underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on every level of Expedition Station. Expedition Station has a spacious lobby with large, gas fireplace, sitting area, game tables, and a pool table. This building also features a heated pool , 8-person hot tub, steam room, and fitness room. The heated pool is only utilized by guests staying at Expedition Station. It is not shared with any other buildings. The pool and hot tub have views of the Gore Mountain Range.
For an additional fee we offer XBOX 360's, Playstation 3's, Nintendo Wii's and the iPad 2. Rent one of these amazing devices and let your kids have a blast while you relax. We deliver and setup the devices for you. iPad 2's are connected to all the Wi-Fi signals in the resort. So take it where you want and have FUN! Bring your own games or rent them from us.

We traveled with our young toddler, and there is a little nook area in the bedroom where the pack and play fits perfectly. It's also pretty well stocked; aside from the basics, there are a few nice extras included that might be useful if you're staying longer, such as a crock pot. The building is nice, too--the hot tub and pool area are private (no views of this area from the sidewalk like with some other buildings in RR Village), clean, and well maintained. The the unit sits on a corner so you have good cross ventilation. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. There were only a couple of things that I would recommend. The king sized bed was not very comfortable. Tha mattress cover had some sort of plastic on it which made it noisy when turning over and also quite warm. The skylight in the bedroom was great for ventilation but the morning sun was very bright. Maybe some sort of blind would help? Wi-fi was good but I had to use the Expedition Station unsecured connection as the password for the secure network on the information card did not work. The phone number for Internet connection help could only advise on the unsecured network as the secure network was the owners router and not under the help line's jurisdiction. Management might want to correct that info. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The management was great . After leaving I realized I had left my camera in the room and the keys were left in the unit as per checkout instructions. I called the SCMR number and within minutes I was able to get back int and retrieve my camera. The tube televisions were a bit outdated in our opinion compared to the other units we have stayed in. The headboard had been removed and the screws were still in the wall without being repaired. Everything was super clean and well-kept. I feel like people want to know the good and the bad. Bear in mind,our bad was very minor, but feel it should be mentioned. The was way too hot in the entire building, not just our unit. We ended up sleeping with doors and windows open to get some cool air. Also beware that you are only provided 3 bath towels and we had 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. For a 5 day stay, more would have been nice. Coming by airplane from Texas, we weren't able to bring additional towels, so we just reused them a bunch. One last thing...come in a small car. We rented a suburban and had a hard time fitting it into the garage. Other than that, no complaints! Would recommend to a friend. Great Location, poor unit A guest from Littleton, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2011 Dishes were in the dishwasher. Sink was full of coffee grounds. Counter tops were dirty and we were naturally worried that the entire place had not really been cleaned. We called management and 2 maintenance guys were sent to clean the unit. They assured us the beds had been correctly remade and that the bathroom had been cleaned. They cleaned up the kitchen. Wi-fi did not work and after 4 calls to management and wifi support we finally got a call back telling us that the password we had been given was incorrect. Coffee filters were the wrong size for the coffee maker so grounds in each pot. There were no Kleenex anywhere in the unit. The light on the microwave did not work. The dormer window needs a shade as when the sun rises it entirely lights the bedroom and there is then NO sleeping in (so much for vacation). The filter in the humidifier was old and pretty nasty. Only 4 towels (for 3 people for 4 days, this does not work) and since it is a 4 person unit, there should be at least 2 for each possible person. Cooking skillets are worn out and with the teflon/other finish being scratched up, they are likely health hazards. Dish washing liquid was a 1.5 gallon jug. While we appreciate it being a "green" approach, that jug was unwieldy. No plastic cups to take to the pool/hottub. Salt and pepper were pretty much empty and no spices or anything much in the kitchen (cooking oil, sugar, etc.). Sunday while we were out skiing, someone entered the unit and turned on the fireplace. Luckily nothing was missing. Simply put, it was a very spartan place and the worst stocked place any of us have ever stayed. On the plus side, everyone that worked there (the two maintenance guys that came to clean, others we encountered in the halls, pool, etc.) or that we spoke to on the phone (management, wifi-helpdesk) were all very nice, polite and professional. We would not recommend the unit, but would highly recommend the staff and the location.
