This 600 square foot oversized condominium is ideally located on the northside of Expedition Station and faces the mountains and ski slopes. You will enjoy these amazing views from the living room, bedroom, and balcony. The master bedroom features a new king sized bed, new bedding, and TV with cable.
The living room will comfortably seat 5 people and features a beautiful gas fireplace, 40 inch flatscreen TV with DVD player, and a Sony CD player to listen to your favorite music. The full kitchen has all of the essentials you will need to cook a meal away from home. The owners have purchased items that many condos do not have including a crockpot, blender, coffee maker, and toaster. There is also free Wi-Fi and a free ethernet connection if your computer is not equipped with Wi-Fi capability. This condo sleeps 6 people with the two twin inflatable mattresses.
This condo has many windows that will allow you to enjoy the breathtaking mountain views from the living room and bedroom. From the balcony, you will enjoy views of the mountains, as well as views of the skiers coming down Dercum Mountain.
It is a 2 minute walk to the heart of River Run Village where you will find excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals, and great people watching. It is approximately a 3 minute walk to new, high-speed, eight person gondola. If you wish to explore other parts of Summit County (e.g. Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne), the free Summit Stage shuttle picks up in front of the building.
Expedition Station was completed in the late 90?s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. The building features two, high-speed elevators that service 91 condominiums. There is an access controlled underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on all floors of the building. Expedition Station has a beautiful lobby with cozy couches, gas fireplace, pool table, and game tables. This building also features a year-round heated pool, an eight person hot tub, fitness center, and a steam room for guests? enjoyment.
NEW FOR 2011: For an additional fee we now offer XBOX 360's, Playstation 3's, Nintendo Wii's and the NEW iPad 2. Rent one of these amazing devices and let your kids have a blast while you relax. We deliver and setup the devices for you. iPad 2's are connected to all the Wi-Fi signals in the resort. So take it where you want and have FUN! Bring your own games or rent them from us.

The heated garage and easy entry made it very nice to unload and load luggage, groceries, etc...When we arrived at our room we noticed how clean everything was. Expedition Station #8569 John D. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at this condo for our ski vacation. We used most of the amenities at the condo (Hot tub, pool, steam room, pool table etc.). It was a short walk to the village and ski lifts. There were a few minor maintenance issues (Bedroom window closure was broken, blender leaked out the bottom and the key cards kept losing the ability to open the doors ???). Overall 4 out of 5 stars. The absolute only drawback was the lack of space for luggage which is why I wouldn't recommend 4 people staying here unless you don't mind clothes and bags everywhere! We put our luggage in the dining room. Other than that everything was perfect from the location to the accommodations. The kitchen is large and the bed was comfy. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 The location was great however the sheets on the bed and couch pull out bed had hair on them which tells me the sheets are not washed/replaced with each visit. The tv in the bedroom is an old box tv and you cannot catch all the channels on it. the DVD/tape player in the master bedroom is also dated and is not compadable with the tv so you cannot watch movies in the bedroom. There is no Ironing Board or Iron. Also the cooking utensils (pots and pans) are really cheap and you cannot cook a decent meal with them. The expedition station is greatly located and has great ammenities however I would not put more than 2 people in this unit comfortably. The building was well-built and secure, with sheltered parking underneath. The area was nice and quiet, as the snow has not fallen yet and the skiers weren't in Keystone. It was peaceful and good to get away for a couple of days. There was a list of items that were supposed to be in the condo, but some of them were not there. We didn't really need a working fireplace, or an iron/ironing board, a broom, games or DVDs. We made do with what was there, and it was fine. Carpet is dirty and needs to be cleaned and restretched at a minimum. New carpet would be better. The sofa is worn out--cushions sink away before you sit down. Opening/closing mechanism on bedroom window is broken. Several dishes in the cupboard were not clean. However, after running the dishwasher, it was apparent that the dishwasher does NOT work very well. While it met our needs, the description oversells the unit for what it is. At the same time, it is understandable that it gets rough use during the ski season. But it needs some updating/repair. We made it work, though, 2 beds (1 is a pullout couch), and 2 camping sleeping pads. One guy slept in the kitchen. So just be prepared for that if you plan on maxing out occupancy.We had 2 cars and they gave us 2 parking passes - 1 underground parking and 1 in the skiers lot not too far away.Location is definitely worth it - an easy walk to the lifts. I was a bit disappointed the lack of Keystone Village night life so you have to take a short drive if you want to hit the nearby bars (Goat or Snake River).Pretty small hot tub, but everyone on the slopes is generally cool so it's a great way to meet some people and swap life stories. The king size bed BARELY fits in the bedroom. In fact, you can hardly close the bedroom door. There's no way the living area could accommodate the pull-out couch and 2 air mattresses. Furthermore, there are barely enough dishes for 2 people for 2 nights without constantly washing and reusing them. The kitchen appliances, baking dishes, etc. are of very poor quality. However, the location is great, the price is right and It's nice to have the gas fireplace and lots of cable channels after a long day of skiing.
