The municipality of Kaunertal comprises hamlets, the largest of which is Feichten and begins near Nufels and stretches over 14 km to Feichten. The "Talmuseum" in Platz is worth a visit. The towns are interconnected via an extensive network of hiking routes. In winter, there is a magnificent cross-country ski run in the valley between the villages. The glacier can be reached comfortably via the imposing panoramic road by ski and hiking bus.
