Had little problems like the TV in the living room had only 4 stations and it would be nice to have a water pitcher in the unit. There is no view from this condo-looks over a parking lot but didnt spend much time inside anyway. Dealing with Kauai Remax was a pleasure and the resort being a perfect home base to the rest of the island. We stayed 11 days and my family wanted more. The grounds are well taking care of. We used the concierge in the main lobby to book a catamaran trip. She was very helpful and knowledgeable of the island and which restaurants to pick. My kids ages 8,10 couldn't get them out of the pool. We loved making breakfast or lunch to eat on the balcony. Beautiful beachside resort Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 Overall the facility is beautiful! Here were the cons to our experience. The condo we rented was in building C which faced the parking lot, because of this the traffic noise is quite loud when you have the sliding doors open. Secondly, we were supposed to have wireless internet and no one could be reached to remedy the problem. Thank goodness for Starbucks across the street! Lastly, we were required to wash all bath towels before checking out at 10:00 a.m. even though you pay for a cleaning fee upfront. For the rental price this should be included. The view was OK, being on the third floor helped with the view ( sliver of ocean ). If you want sunshine and a beach view, just go to the pool. The property was lovely but the location, overlooking the parking lot,close to the road was extremely noisy. However, those that choose to not get an ocean view are left with parking lot views which are less than desirable. Pay the extra $500. Also, Waipouli Resort should learn from other resorts and invest in a world class Fitness center. The one they have now even a 3-star hotel would out do.
