Agree with other reviews out there that the dining setup is a bit tight, and you do notice not having a very big lanai to enjoy like other units on the property. The kitchen and bath is great, top quality finishes. Noted some exterior areas around the resort which indicated some maintenance needed to be done on the building facades and pool areas; the HOA/resort mgmt should really be getting this stuff repaired. Accommodations modern and very comfortable except for two areas: very, very uncomfortable pullout mattress on sleeper bed. Seems to be a common concern throughout the complex as another owner said he added a memory foam as soon as his quest presented this concern. Recommend that this should be added to every sofa bed! Also, set up for table less than convenient. Cramped and inconvenient set up for eating meals. Good except a few interesting problems. A guest from Delta, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in May, 2012 I enjoyed my stay but I did have a few problems. After I put my passport in the safe it would not open. Evidently the battery had died and Remax did not have a override entry code to open it. It took 2 days for the locksmith do come out and he had to crowbar the safe open. Happy to finally get my passport out. One day the air conditioner gentleman opened by door and entered my room to service the air conditioner. He was as surprised as I was to see me. He was told the suite was not rented so with his access to the door he entered and immediately left feeling very bad. Also the room did not have the Remax phone numbers info to call when needing help, so I got the information from my son who was also staying at the resort.I did love the room but the 2 situations that I had deal with I could without. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2012 Staying here was a wonderful experience. it was very clean and they had everything we needed. the only downside is the view of the parking lot which we knew before we came. We had an issue with our air conditioning and Remax got it figured out right away for us. i would stay here again as its in between the north and the south of the island which makes day trips alot easier. The location is very convenient whether you are going to head north or south or just stay in Kapaa. We were here without kids, but the pool would be a really fun place for them to hang out all day. Plenty of lounge chairs available at any hour, lots of hot tub space and a great great pool. we ended up exploring the island much more than anticipated, so we didn't stay at the resort that much, but the time we did spend there was perfect. We ate at the Oasis restaurant for lunch and dinner, dinner was much better than lunch. One of the best steaks I've ever eaten. The unit was immaculate and very well appointed. Granite, tile, professional appliances etc. The bed was comfortable too. I would recommend this place to anyone!
