A fine collection of buildings on the side of a ridge. The yard area before the cottage goes towards the lake shore; there are steep steps from the cottage down to the shore. The way from the shore, past the cottage, to the outbuilding is well-illuminated: it has motion detectors which switch on the yard lights. The yard area is sandy and has trees. The lake is well-stocked with fish. Horse riding opportunities 8 km, golf course 20 km, Vehoniemenharju and Vehoniemi Automobile Museum 4 km, Särkänniemi Adventure Park at Tampere 30 km, Tampere airport 35 km.
