This two story townhouse at the Fairways in Mauna Lani is the perfect combination of simple elegance and luxury. With three bedrooms, the floor plan has 1,950 square feet, the most square footage in the fairways. Each guest will have plenty of space and privacy. The main floor features a luxuriously furnished and spacious living room, dining room, kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. A Wonderful Stay at Mauna Lani Fairways Alison B. from Novato, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 We recently rented unit # 402 at Mauna Lani Fairways and were very satisfied with the unit. It was clean, well maintained and the kitchen was very well appointed. We had everything we needed to prepare great meals to eat out on the patio. The only criticism I have is that the feedback from the guests that stayed in the room with the double bed was that the mattress sagged towards the center. This really wasn't a huge issue and most likely wouldn't have been brought up if only one person was sleeping in the bed. Overall, we were very satisfied with the unit and would definitely rent it again in the future! The closest grocery store is about a 2 minute drive (new Foodland), 3 minutes to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club (great for small kids), 25 minutes to the Kona airport, 30 minutes to downtown Kailua-Kona area (pier, shops & restaurants). Mauni Lani Fairways 402 A guest from St. Paul, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 15 days in December, 2012 The condo was very well equipped, had wonderful island artwork, and top end furniture. The carpeting could use a good cleaning, though. The property only had a ground level lanai with the fairway view obstructed by a field of lava rocks. The resort itself was beautifully landscaped and had a large pool although it was not very deep and was unheated. The management company was very courteous and friendly, but had some trouble getting the gate and lock box codes to me in a timely manner. Property Manager Response: Response from Kona Coast Vacations We are sorry we didn't get your direction information to you in a timely manner. We had intended to put a new Kaba lock on the door and it wouldn't work on that type door. We normally send them out at least 2 weeks in advance. We're sorry for the confusion.
