Stayed for 10 days in March, 2013 My family and I (son, wife and children ages 8 and 2) spent 10 delightful days in this great Wai'ula'ula condo. Very conveniently located near the Mauna Kea resort, we enjoyed all the amenities of the resort but had our own fully equipped home away from home. We had plenty of room to spread out - the view from the deck was gorgeous. The kids enjoyed their own room, the TV, the DVD player and being able to eat and snack when they wanted. We also had access to an on site swimming pool and exercise facility. All in all, a great vacation! Wai' ula' ula A-201 A guest from Victor, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in June, 2012 Overall we had a great stay at your property. There was plenty of room for us and nice to have 2 bedroom/bath suites. The place was spotless and well equipped. Having a washer/dryer there was great! The only downsides were not being provided with much information regarding the amentities that could be used at the Mauna Kea (without the "Beach Club" pass), and the reseeding of the grass that was scheduled during our visit. Information, such as how to access the Mauna Kea beach with a rental car needs to be included. We contacted the concierge, who didn't know, but got back to us and told us what to do. Also, in the advertisement, a shuttlebus was mentioned. We never did find out where or when that worked. I'd recommend another section in the book to explain these items and whether you need to bring towels from the place or if you can use the Mauna Kea towels at the beach as well. There also was a journal mentioned. There was no journal that we could find. I realize that maintenance needs to be done, but there needs to be coordination with management to avoid renting the sections to be affected for that period of time. Fortunately, we were gone most of the days when this reseeding happened (dust from the mulch and noise from the bucket loader), and we were staying long enough to enjoy it the rest of the time.
