Stayed for 9 days in January, 2013 We were able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants, the farmers' market, and to rent kayaks and paddle boards. The unit we rented was clean and modern. The private deck was generous and provided sun or shade. Ceiling fans inside and out meant we never had to turn on the air conditioners. The pool was small but clean and refreshing. This is a very quiet neighborhood, convenient for walking, and has great access to nearby highways. Very clean and well equipped plus location was excellent for walking to the downtown area. We had even contemplated renting again for the following year and even thought about a possible purchase in the complex. Then, we met the property manager who reamed us up one side and down the other for parking in a reserved space. We were new to the area and had parked to look for our parking space under the complex. We had no idea as to how and where to go. We deceided to park the car outside and look for the spot and when we got back we were told very rudely that we had parked in someone's spot and that visitors could not parl there. Well, if he had taken the time to find out why we had done so, he would have realized that we were NOT visitors but renters and we needed help in finding the correct spot to park. The location was perfect as we were a 7min jog from the start on the pier but it was still very quiet if you wanted to get away from the hype. Our unit had heaps of room for 2 and had absolutely everything we could want even fins, snorkels and heaps of cooking utensils as we cooked a lot of our own food. The location is great, as it is a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and shops on Ali'i Drive, but it is still very quiet in the condo. The balcony is lovely. My only hesitation is that in retrospect, I would have booked a place with more of a view of either the ocean or the mountain. The owner of the rental company was very professional and sent people by to clean the condo when I noticed that one of the bathrooms was a tiny bit dirty. (I had booked the condo an hour before checking in, so there wasn't time for a once-over before I arrived.)
