Ali'i Villas 207 Debra S. from Vancouver, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2013 The property was very clean and the kitchen fairly well stocked with the exception of no potato masher. The washing machine, dishwasher and refrigerator were so loud that we could not hear the TV and worried about the sound for the apt below! NO LOCAL PHONE. Had a bit of trouble getting the pool key, but Cindy at the property mgt co was a great help and got it quickly. No view from this apt at all, altho a 5 second walk outside to a good one of the sunset and breaching. whales. Complex is set up to be VERY noisy with NO sound privacy since all windows are open and VERY close to eachother. Like a college dorm. Could literally hear the neighbor clear their throat. review of Alii Villas 207 A guest from Sunnyvale, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 When we got to the vacation rental we were really suprised. The unit was dirty. The beds were stripped. The bedding was in the washer unwashed. There was dishes in the sink. And the floors were sticky. We called the person to contact and they waived the cleaning fee. But it still.was not fun to have to clean on vacation. We recommend Ali'i Villas Reviewed by: Marilyn P. recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in January, 2013 We visited Ali'i Villas in January 2013. The place was likely built in the 80's but it is beautifully kept up and the lanai is wonderful. It is cement block construction (we never had to use AC) in a great location. The complex is quiet, with a mix of mostly older owners and rentals. BE SURE the property management services give you a four digit code to access the lockbox on the door. We did not get one and were stranded at 11 pm trying to get in. Luckily the site manager was very accommodating. If you are looking for flashy and night life this property is not for you. If you are looking for a well located stay that is laid-back, comfortable and homey, you will like it here. However, please note that there is no beach appropriate for children at this location - you must drive to one a couple miles away.
