A very nice quiet stay on the ocean. Blaine P. from Avon, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 First off, the property was great with a very nice pool area right on the ocean. Away from the crowds but still close to everything. It was very comfortable and quiet.A couple suggestions though: The water filter was in need of replacement. Not a huge deal, however the tap water was very harsh and was not good for coffee in the morning. We cleaned coffee maker as it had a bit of 'residue' from tap water and used water from fridge and it helped a bit. Also, it would be good to have some flashlights or candles on hand as we had a power outage (car hit power pole we heard so not property related) and had zero light and it was pretty dark. Power was back on 30-60 minutes after we arrived back 'home', so not a long time but a candle would have helped. We still would recommend the property and would consider returning if we come to Kona again. So much to do and so little time. Beautiful living room, bedroom were nice. I believe if two or more people wanted to cook in the kitchen it would have been too small. The drain in the shower was slow and needed plunging each morning.Overall, my rating would be 4.5 on the unit. It was relaxing atmosphere and a great place to settle into the aloha spirit. We drove past it a few times but once we got our landmarks it was easy to find. Everyone we met was very nice and cheerful. We would most likely stay here again on our next visit! Stayed for 15 days in March, 2012 We were pleasantly surprised at how large it was with everything you could possibly want for a pleasant two week stay. It had a new fridge, stove, doshwasher, and microwave. The bed was a kingsize and very comfortable. We actually picked this unit above some of the others because it advertised air conditioning in the bedroom - very much appreciated if you can handle the noise which we are used to. Two other items listed as amenities were not available, no WiFi! And no ensuite laundry. Totally disappointed that we were unable to use our iPad to keep in touch with home, and there was a laundry facility on the premises but was not ensuite and very expensive...bring lots of quarters!We had a very nice time, the condo is very central and quiet. It is also very well managed and the grounds are very well cared for. The management company was excellent to deal with and we would recommend them, and we will certainly use them in the future! Clean & very comfortable, not to mention really safe. Wi-fi never worked, but no bother. This location was our favorite place during our two week stay on the island (which started at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa). In fact, we were so comfortable we even extended our stay here until the end of our trip. We will definitely return.
