The mess we went through. Jarret A. from Mapleton, Utah does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 It was so bad. Our flight came in late there was no where to check in and get a key. We thought we were going to have to sleep in the car. The guard out side of the gate even told us that we had not rented a condo from you when we had. The guard on the other side that was not even in charge of the condo's had to call and help us out to get our room. Then online when we ordered it the condo that we thought we were renting had two bathrooms. We had a lot of bugs. Never will stay on that side of the condo's again. 3 WEEKS ON THE NORTH SHORE Reviewed by: Claudette J. recommends this property. Stayed for 21 days in July, 2012 We have stayed in this condo 3 times, once next door & 2 other times in 2 other condos which were not as nice. We feel like we are going to our second home, we like Kuilima & the North Shore so much. The beach ismy favorite beach overall & the condo is located so close. The new kitchen counter top & cabinets were very nice. We would certainly return if possible. There were a few things that needed repair & we did leave a note for the management co. No a/c, no problem, the ceiling fans made it cool enough. We enjoyed the pool. The only annoying thing was constant helicopters flying overhead doing tours, but it would have been the same anywhere near Turtle Bay. There are a lot of places to eat not far away & they all had great food that was reasonable. My favorite place on Oahu... Joseph J. from Escondido,, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in August, 2008 We love Kuilima Estates. This was our 4th time, 3 with Cooks, but this time we were much more happy. We are seniors so it's quiet enough for us. We love the beach, lots of shade, water not too choppy because of it being a bay. Watching the surfers is fun & also the giant sea turtles, awesome. One thing that is not good is that The Turtle Bay Hotel will not permit the people from Kuilima to use their beach chairs, so we did buy 2 as the unit did not have any. The restaurant on the beach called OLA is great. If you are looking for a nice place, not luxurious, but comfortable, we do recommend Kuilima & we would come back. It would be nice, though, if the Estate would let us use the adult pool on the West side, especially for us seniors. The last 4 we have stayed in the condos at Turtle Bay. We absolutely love it there, with the gated community and the great beach at Turtle Bay. This condo had good furnishings, but not alot of extras. It was a little musty, like it is not used alot. But it was well worth the price we paid for a week stay. Can't wait to come back next year!!
